Hi. I was wondering, when I want to hide words do people can CTRL+F them, what is the code for the color used as the background of posts?

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: Hiding words in posts (11/13/2011 8:37:52)

This is the result. The result is to the left.

Hmmm. Thanks! For your help.

Incorrect! :p

It should be instead of
  • Using six of e instead of three of e

    Examples:

    Correct
    Correct
    Result: Correct

    Incorrect
    Incorrect
    Result: Incorrect

AVA, the two accomplish the exact same thing. The one with three "e's" is shorter to type. This thread provides the reason why.

    quote:

In Hexadecimal if the character or number is repeated throughout it is only necessary to type the first 3 instances, hence why

    works as well as

    does.

So, you can use both of those, this one or this one to hide the words.
Say, you want to hide this < Message edited by drinde -- 11/13/2011 8:41:50 >
    Example:

    quote:

    Hmmm. Thanks! For your help.
