(11/20/2011 23:23:08) Definition straight from the dictionary: "The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination" Though we just naturally automatically think of visual things first when we hear 'art' I don't think there's an argument out there that could question whether or not music is art. Art is the process of arranging items (whether they be images, pitches, or words) to influence one or more of the senses or emotions. This would include images, music, writing, and I'm sure some other things.

Because music allows you to express thoughts and feelings as well as your imagination. And I find that feelings, emotions, and creativity in art is just as important as skill. So I would find things like drawing, music, dance, even some forms of writting and some types of video games. But that is just my opinion
