Remorse -> The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 5:19:06)

At first I was kind of disapointed to hear that they were goin to make a counter for support builds rather then strength but to my surprise they made it for both aux and side arm!

I think this is one of the best ideas they have created in terms of robots!

Awsome way to seperate the smart from powerful!

Awsome work devs! Keep it up! (I dont usally say this so you can actuly take this as a compliment!)

Although the price is a bit iffy, I hope it is out for non variums soon I belive this will help the smart ones to gain the edge thye need to take down the mighty varium players! xD

What do you guys think discuss!!

Well i didn't like this thing from Devs , they did a mistake updating this Yeti Bot now , Reason ?

  • if someone doesn't have this yeti bot he\she will lose the battle 100% , umm why ?
-Because on Habit the battle ends on 3-5th turn if anyone have the Yeti Bot the VS can't win Because when they use yeti Bot you can't use your "Gun \ Zooka" cuz of +2 Cooldown will be added after this yetti bot hits you. so i totally say it's a bad thing they did when they Updated this yeti bot today.

    -Thanks

My Baby Yeti Really Enjoys Eating Guns And Auxes. Just Gobbles 'Em Up.

Poof. All Gone. No More Gun. No More Aux. Happy Little Yeti.

    How Awesome Is That?

    @VIX,

However this may be a problem for some old stratigies,
OR you could however use this to you advantage and have knew stratigies set up to result them in practically wasting a turn if they use the bot!

Dont forget if thye use the special they miss out on rage for that turn also they have to wait for a chance to use a normla robot attack,
WHICH may end up being a wrose result for that plaeyr if the oppenent uses his powerful robot and strikes in their cool down of their aux,

It means people will have to calculate times when people may use the yeti and allow for back up plans.

I dont know were ur getting the if you have it you win 100% from because I think it will work in theoppisite way while at the same time giving credit for those who like to use defensive stratgy.

I have been coping alot of mouth from TLMs whos best comeback they can come up with is "evolve or die"
I feel This is apropriate for me to finally use on this particular occasion.

Rooster -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 6:22:16)

Yeti bot means they don't have assault bot. Just smoke or malf and your primary does more damage, thus, no need for aux or gun.

RageSoul -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 6:54:40)

I will make Strength builds more advantageous .

Jekyll -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 8:24:41)

If you can perfectly time your Yeti's special to disrupt your opponents rage and force him to use a blockable attack on rage, it definitely has an impact on the outcome. You must be strategic enough though.

Hun Kingq -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 9:11:37)

The Yeti's special is great for 1vs1 if the round is short but if the round is long just like the gamma and assault bot you should be able to use it more then one time because how can we truly punish the strength and support abusers. In Boss battles the special should be allowed to be more than once. 2vs2 either the yeti should be program to eat both players weapons or be used more than once and same goes for 1vs2. they did not limit the gamma bot or the assault bot one match usage why limit any new bot, especially since the damage is less than the overpowered gamma bot.

jegaggin -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 9:14:12)

can someone record a video of it for the people who did not buy it :)?

wario the great -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 11:40:34)

the yeti ruined tm's 2 cooldown... by the time its back then r malf woulda nearly gone...

ND Mallet -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 11:48:56)

It's called strategy. Assume a physical bot is the Yeti until proven otherwise. Save an unblockable skill for rage. Wait a little bit before using malfunction or smokescreen. I would say wait until the Yeti has eaten your weapons before you malf or smoke.

wario the great -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 11:55:16)

they wont yeti untill you malf/smoke though and u are left with blockableand some1 with really high dex will block both your attacks and u will die. happened to me everytime vs yeti

ND Mallet -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 11:59:15)

If they won't use the yeti then you don't have to worry about losing your weapons and a chance to be blocked with rage. You'll rage faster anyways if you don't use malf or smoke since you'll be getting less damage inflicted. Don't malf, they don't use Yeti, you rage faster and can use a gun or aux on them.

Death Gigas -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 12:01:13)

The Yeti Special can be blocked, I blocked both Yeti attacks in 1 battle.

BlueKatz -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 12:04:10)

It deals damage on special, that's something...

kittycat -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 13:33:12)

The Yeti's special attack can really impact Support Builds, moderately impact Strength Builds due to risk of blocking their strike, while Having the Tech builds the least impact due to their robots. Dexterity builds can help out so that you have a better chance of hitting when you are in the special.

TurkishIncubus -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 13:42:59)

Useless, you need to have a build that can have a chance to win all builds, just because yeti is good against supp builds i will not give 1900 varium, assault bot is good against all build which is better.

kittycat -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 13:46:35)

I agree, TurkishIncubus. They aren't very handy against Bounty Hunter Dex or Massacre Builds.

gangster a -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 13:49:05)

bought it now no creds and best way to spend 3k var any thoughts guys? pm me

nico0las -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 20:08:05)

Meh, it's fine. I'm not easily impressed with animations, though.
I'll be far more impressed when the new gear is released.

rej -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 20:10:48)

if the base damage was only slightly higher, or if the price was 25% or more lower, i would buy it. the special is useful, but it one turn wasted for 1-2 skipped weapon usage(s) really that useful?

Jekyll -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 20:14:07)

@rej Against tech mages, its useful. Today, I used it against a TM with physical primary. All he could do was strike.

rej -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/24/2011 20:20:06)

^i know. but tech mages are allready so undercharged that using it on them would be overkill in the most extreme form.

Sipping Cider -> RE: The Yeti Special, Your thoughts! (11/25/2011 1:22:03)

This is one of the best ideas since last update! Great idea, and its awesome how the picture actually loses the weapons. As for using this special in game, it is very strategical and as said perfectly by remorse, it separates the true good players from the build abusers. Not an OPed special against an equal partener, and not an UPed one either.
