King FrostLich -> Year of the Dragon Anniversary? (12/2/2011 9:52:31)

As you may all know, Epicduel wasn't part of AE at first and it had its own forums. But soon, the forums merged which ignited a flame war from many players because they loved the old forums better. Right now, that time is almost there which if I'm not mistaken is on Dec. 4 wherein the forums of ED merged with AE therefore making it as one big community. Now, shouldn't there the Year of the Dragon Achievement be released in all varium packages like last year? It's one(and could be the only) way of remembering the old forums and at the same time brings back memories of what happened there since the link to the old forums was already deleted a long time ago.

Well, According To My 'Adventure Quest Worlds' (AQW) 2012 Calender...

March 1st Is "Officially" Marked As EpicDuel's Anniversary Day.

Not Sure What They Have Planned, If Anything. I Guess They Are Waiting Till Then To Celebrate It.

I'm Sure They'll Be Something Done. They Like To Space These Things (Events) Out, For Money... Er,... I Mean, Um... Timing Purposes.

Till Then, Enjoy The New Juloffenblotten Festival!

Brrrr... Where Are My Earmuffs?

Cheers.

~ Buffy

March seems so far away, but i bet it'll feel really quick after that date has gone past, it's usually the way, you wait months and months and it feels like a week.

King FrostLich -> RE: Year of the Dragon Anniversary? (12/2/2011 17:33:11)

@KingFrostLich

Again, See Above...

EpicDuel Has A Way Of Moving Events Around To Suit Them... $$$$$$$ !

According To The AQW 2012 Calender (Which I Will Be Planning My Life Around In 2012)... EpicDuel Will Be Celebrating It's Anniversary On March 1st, 2012.

Then Again, The Calender Also Has Such Historic Event Days Such As 'BACON Day' On January 7th & 'CHEESE Day' On January 20th Listed.

So, Take That As You Will.

Actually, It Makes Sense For Profit (Shocker!) For Them To Space This...

Frost Events Lead To New Year... After New Year's We Have Friday The 13th Again, Then Soon After Is Valentine's Day In February, Leading Into March Which Is The "Anniversary' Date.

BUSINESS As Usual. If The Anniversary Is Now, It Would Be Overshadowed By The Winter Event. So They Push The Actual Anniversary Back To, Hopefully, Have A Big In Game Event.

They Are Diabolical In Their Profit Planning. Don't Let This Last Minute Bug/Delay Stuff Make You Think Otherwise.

Buffy Would Like To Point Out She Is Neither Condeming Nor Condoning Such Buisness Tactics. Just Being Honest About What I See.

An Informed Consumer Is A Happy One.

Happy FrostJulyJewelOrphanYargarBlargarFinFenBloatinYetiBelches Festival Everyone!

ENJOY!

FrostHS -> RE: Year of the Dragon Anniversary? (12/2/2011 17:56:49)
