Remorse -> What updates are the most important to you? (12/13/2011 2:50:25)

For me its balance updates,

I think they are diefntely the most important thing the game should be focosing on, I would put it before minor bugs, errors, content wepons etc.


Especially before the frost war,
Balance needs to stop being delayed for the 1000th Time and put in before the war event so it may actuly be enjoyed with fair balance.

Reason for this post is to see what other players feel, because I belive balance delays have occured because the devs dont rate it as a high priority compared to other things, I have also been told many balance updates have already been tested but somehow new wepons and a rip off robot is more important. Which is nothing new I cant count how many times wepon releases have tacken over possible balance changes releases and Im sick of it.
Aswell as small requirment so called "balance updates" I dont know how they devs can claim they are trying to fix balance if they dont fix the main problems instead try a pathetic atempt to slow them down with requirments etc. and in most cases it makes balance worse.

What do ou guys think discuss.

Something that ED doesn't understand; balance comes first, then other things follows.

They don't need to add new Weapon Types, they don't new Weapon Specials, and they certainly DO NOT need new Enhancements.

Balance first, equipment second.

Heck do we need some balance. So what if I have the best weps in-game? I will still, more often than not, lose to the OPed classes.

Balance. Not new weps, that UNbalances, as the mods have yet to relies for some reason :l

To anyone saying balance. I would like to explain something to you guys.

When there was a balance update, people complain because there wasn't content (new items, maps, etc...)
so because of that they decided to do content first, balance second.
and now you guys complain anyway?

this is the time when the community needs to make up their mind together.

Updates that happen on time, that don't have anything left out that was promised in the DNs for that week (i.e. weapons), no delays, and most importantly, updates that give me a reason to play in this game.

Anything that isn't broken. New weapons could be good if they didn't release overpowered weapons each time, if they looked great and if there was a balance between varium and non-varium weapons. Obviously, pricing needs to be fixed too. New features are good as long as they're not broken, buggy, laggy or incomplete. Most new features have been left incomplete-- missions, 2vs1 boss battles and the retrain revamp just to mention a few.

Balance changes should take priority since the game revolves around its PvP features. The problem is that some balance changes cripple certain builds, reduce the amount of fun gameplay wise and it can cause the problem of overpowered builds. I assumed that they created a balance team to fix these issues but the balance team hasn't done anything remarkable yet (besides from saying that they have planned all the balance changes for months).

To wrap things up, I don't mind what type of update it is and long as it's done well. I know that there's a lot of pressure on the developing team but they are professionals and therefore they must cope with it and meet the expectations of the players.

Your right, everytime they do their fail attempt to balance people do complain,


Wanna know why, their resent balance updates are pathetic, Requirments solve nothing, all they are doiing is trying to delay, yet never fix the main body of the problem.

That is why people complain and also alot would be mad after waiting sooooo long all we get are pathetic requirments.


Liitle miniscule balance changes do next to nothing excpet anoy people, I bet people would accept big changes if it had other advanatges and was only 1 big thing rather then a bunch of little nerfs.

And I also see why the people who would get nerfed by these requirments would complain, requirments are soo anoying and are not needed IF proper changes are made.
I bet people would be alot happier if big changes were made BUT as a comprimise many of these restricting not needed requirments were removed.


If all they are gonna do for balance changes are more requirments or little nerfs then I too do not wnat them, they are not helping the game and they are NOT what people have waited 6 months for.

talking about balance , a game with block , deflect and cric can never be defined 100% balanced ,so dont waste time on greving about balance , juzz enjoy new FEATURES and WEAPONS !! [8D]

^ I cannot understand how that new feature and wepons can be enjoying without proper balance.

Yes balance can not ever be 100% but it could at least be 5 times better then it is now and that is defintely a start.

New feature and wepons might be fun for the first day as soon as they get old, the off putting balance of this game will continue to turn you away.

And I hope that is the case for all players including TLMs surely players who are TLMs arnt selfish enough to put their own selfish interest over the enjoyment for everyone in the game.

^ ^ well its not lyk ur forbidden to be a TLM , U can always change !!

juzz dont get it ,even after making class change for CREDITS , ever1 is still crying for(or more lyk over ) other classes !!

if u feel TLM is over powered ,then BE 1 !! wats the prob?? , if winning is all matters than "change" !

^Maybe the problem is the fact that Every one IS changing,

even if everyone was given a free tocken to class change to the "oped class" this would not help the problem but infact make it worse.

It is the people who constantly change to the oped classes that ARE also the problem,

What would changing to the oped class acheive, it is the same with changing to oped builds all it will do is make battles with people who are already the oped class /build, LUCK will mainly detremine the winner mostly by whoever starts...

Then this game will slowly lose variety and become trash,

NO thank you I will not change to the Oped class/builds and slowly send this game to its death, but thanks for offering.

i do agree that variety is needed ,but if variety isn't leading to wins then u got NO choice !! except ,u dont care much about ur record !!

personaly ask me , even i wanna change to tech mage , but for me wins matter more [:o]

I understand you, and any player who is forcibly changed to a TLM not for wanting purposes rather needing purposes.


I dont care much about my record thats why I only NPC when Im short on credits or if Im going for daily,

But please dont tell other people to stop complaining and change if you also agree it is a problem, maybe some people want the game to succsed and it just gets anoying when all they say in their deffence is "then just change" it really ticks me off.

varium price cuts like things like name change and factions also ?*cough* balance..... but not gunna support it if it only nerfs TLM that is not balance but anniliation of one class.
