This is more of a question, because as soon as we work out the money needed then it's pretty much it. For opinions about it, you should post in DNs thread (release thread) or if you want a question to be answered then Q&A.
Afaik, it's unknown yet how much points you need.

Field Commander 100k Contract Sergeant 150k and the next is 400k

400k?!? that's nearly 500$ for 100 extra rating points!

1000 lvl 30 npc kills is equivalent to 100 varium bombs which costs 5k varium, $25usd, for 20k points.

So one would need 12,500 npc kills, not including the bomb drop, or 65k varium / $325usd, not including crits.

Crits happen quite frequently so expect that price to go down drastically. For those of us that have gotten 200k plus, we didn't spend as much as some believe.
