i won war hero without spending any varium on it.
it is hard work yes, but it can be done.

i used 713 war bombs
each bomb did about 65 damage per bomb.

500 can actually be enough in the Exile side. You just need to kill quickly and at the same time store enough bombs before trying to get the achievement.

I find it insane that nothings being done about this yet...I mean hopefully this will last for a larger portion of winter so the devs can do something about this but jesus....

with the exception of having beast master armor, a nonvarium has to work 125% harder

^ Just save all your bombs until you reckon you have enough to win leaderboard, doesn't have to be from battling.

This is why legion is winning the faction war. :P
They have half the players, but twice the payers.
It's sort of like the house competition that non-variums couldn't enter because getting a house is hard enough, let alone decorating it competitively.

The cheevo should be renamed to Frysteland Varium Hero.

Jokes aside, the next war shouldn't have an option to buy bombs with varium.

It's a money trap. Legion will probably win unless they do something. It's full of the paying high-level people.
