the more i think about it....i am appalled that AE has introduced United States political issues into it's design notes [:@] this is atrocious and totally ridiculous [>:]

this game has done a great job at bringing forth an international community in a common environment for enjoyment.....and now it is promoting anti-american sentiment????....wth? the US does not control internet access to foreign sites from outside of the US....this SOPA/PIPA thing has nothing to do with anyone outside the US....it could possibly effect AE's use of copyrighted material....but that's IT !!!!!

i have said before, i'm against the bill and have informed my congressmen,.....but that's IT !!!

why is this on this game forum?? or in the design notes?????

MirageD- it was mentioned on the AQW Design Notes as well. It affects us as a company, and quite frankly I was following Cysero's lead. We are an international community, but as a company we are based in the US. SOPA/PIPA affects us directly.

I loathe getting into politics- international or US- as a public figure. The only politics that I will address as a public figure are the views of the company. The majority of AE employees on Twitter have expressed their opposition to SOPA/PIPA, and our views are authorized by AE.

I believe I have defended my actions, and if you need to discuss this with me further, please do so over PM.
