There is a character limit in posts, but that figure is ridiculously high. Unless you're writing a massive guide or something, I doubt you'll reach it.

Considering that people in L&L have whole 10-15 page chapters (in word) in one post, I think you are fairly safe. It would take a massive amount of text to hit the limit. I don't think I have ever hit that limit and I am one of the ones with huge chapters and stories on the forum.

The only times I know of people reaching this character limit was when they had ostensibly large suggestions in the DF Suggestions before it was renovated and ultimately demolished. Don't worry about hitting it. :)
