Well just today, I was battling an tm with a scattered build. It strucks me because it just only took me 3 turns to bring him down. What's wrong with them and do you think it's time to give them a simple in game tutorial? I just wanna discuss this because this is threatening the game so badly.

Well they most likely need experience player to help them like which built is good for them. For example Im not type mage who does good in support builts but Im really good at tank builts.

Yes. It sickens me to see people have so many loses and have such a bad build without anyone to help them. The devs really need to pay attention to this. This is what creates these lvl 30+ players with a lvl 1 primary and nothing else. And when I try to help they usually do not except my help.

Same with you. When offering help they are so stubborn and even sometimes calling you a noob.

@midnight assassin Yeah. I try to help them telling them that your build is not good and I just want to help you improve it. And they start feeling offended calling me a noob and saying I suck. I'm like dude look at your win/lose ratio your build is not good let me help you unless you wanna keep getting called a noob in 2vs2 let me help you! But nope they refuse and then leave or I leave.

Perhaps they dont care if they lose, and they dont care enough to want to be good at the game.

In a sence we should all take a picture from their book, they dont NPC constantly just because of what people think of their record xD makes me laugh some people.

click how to play it explain to ya the basics of the game but i wont consider that as a tutorial cause u have to read it and you know some kids/people dont know the English language that well. mid lvl non variums are easy to beat cause it is their first file yeah i messed up my first file so bad that i cant play it anymore XD every1 makes the mistake of using too much credits / having a unusable build ect ect most people do not even know what the hell is a npc. to them npc=no popcorn.

Mid levels, especially TMs, have little understanding of how the class works. While their mercenary counterparts have it easy (as the class takes very little strategy to use (usually)), the BH and TM population has to struggle with underpowered gear and armors (not to mention complex classes) to ah... try and compete with their opponent (that being mercenary, as half the newbies play as mercenary). Be that as it may, mercenary turns out to be the weakest starter class in the game and, in the long run, TM and BH leave mercenary in the dust.

Basically, since they are beginners and aren't fully used to the class, gear, or whatever else may bother them, it's simply a phase, I suppose.

One thing that seems evident is the abuse of Tech on the mid level non variums TMs, making them almost helpless against any physical attack. I find that Hunters and Mercs have a much easier time with non varium builds because they are much easier to abuse with to be honest.

I found this level 34 BH, with 72 health and 70 EP. Wondering about her build, I clicked on her stats.

2300 wins (okay, that's fine)
7000 loses (wut.)

(For the record, her build was basically a focus, although I can't quite call it that since it had no purpose; she had no robot).

Her skill tree was messed, she didn't have enough energy for a smoke+mass (she was 4 energy off), things didn't add up, she put like 1 point into every skill...

Needless to say, with my 107 HP, 21-26 defense, 21-26 +6 resistance, and a STR abuse build, it took 2 turns to kill her. I fought her twice. TWICE. Wasn't even close, she didn't even get me to below 80 health.

Point is-Non-Forum ED players need to have some way of getting an idea of good builds.

^Exactly. Not all ED players have access to the forums. Aside from that their is really no one or anything to help them.

well the Finder Bot might help them the mid lvls a little but still making build is a big problem and it cost tons of credits when u hit lvl 25. retraining can drain so much credits sometimes.

Another reason why I think mid lvls are problematic is that, this guys have problems in setting up goals. They also tend to update their weapons as they lvl up. The tutorial in the homepage of ed in my opinion needs a lot of editing. Also they need to add an in game tutorial in battle. Not sure but they also need to add some sample builds to give these guys an idea on why not to scatter your build.

Well your right they need goal set in mind like for me I set goal I wanna reach like level up to 34 in month for example.
