Does anyone think that there should be Mutating Weapons, as in Guns and Auxiliaries?

Do you think that they should change look depending on what class you are and/or the stats of the weapon(s) change?

The Stats would work the same as Mutating Armors and Weapons?

Why would it be a waste of time for the Developers?

It would only be another great way to bring in more sales on Varium, especially if they were given with the 10k(10,000) Varium Package.

If it changes just looks, it would not be worth buying. If it changed stats, there would be tons of people complaining that it doesnt suit their build.

I think that it would be a way to really good way to promote players to get better auxiliaries and gun seeing how most players have mainly a good primary and armor.

If another player saw this weapon, but then saw another weapon that looked similar to it on another player, they just might want to buy it the weapon.

The purpose of mutating weapons is that when u change class, u can still use it.

Therefore, there is really no use of this and is a waste of time to implement since guns and auxs can be used by all classes (they are already sort of 'mutating').

3 different arts in one mutating weapon for different stats and looks? I'd rather have 3 separate weapons with variety of stats to suit my build + get better profit - 3 separate weapons > 1 mutating weapon.

no, mutating weapons are there,to make weapons that are class-specific usable by all classes, guns/swords/bots/auxes/bikes are already usable by all classes, so there's reaélly no need to waste tripple the time of creating them.

Seriously, I laughed at this topic. I mean, guns and auxiliaries can be equipped by all classes. Why make it mutate? It's just going to have the same result.

I have a suggestion for your suggestion: Mutating Sidearms and Auxiliaries means that they can change between Energy and Physical outside of battle.

also what about split damage for guns and auxs? wouldn't work for single shot guns, but double shot ones could be split into phys and energy

Ehh. I do not see any point at all with this.. I rather see them do some "mutating" armors again such as Founder armor.

The problem here is that Guns/Aux are already a mutating weapons and you can use them at any class! I think you wanted to mention, that every class should have a special Guns/Aux, Kinda good but it's just waste of time! instead of creating 10 different Guns/aux u will be needed to create 5 different guns/aux on each class...Maybe this effect is already taken, so you better look out for a better idea, such like upgrading Guns/Aux? Instead of buying Tons of them and making you inventory Huge! Or maybe this the point xD..

I'd like to thank you very much for your suggestion, and for everybody's feedback, but sadly, this suggestion isn't really a feasible one, as quite a few people have pointed out. Firstly, the reason why currently mutating weapons are here is so that someone can buy a single weapon, and despite class changing, can still use it. The restrictions of this is that the stats can't change, because in the Database, the weapon is classed as one single weapon, with one stat entry. Therefore, it would be the same with Guns and Aux's, meaning the changing stats would not be an option, because it is impossible.
Furthermore, the other idea would be to make a gun/aux that changes looks depending on class. This would be a rather time taking process for NightWraith and Charfade, because they'd have to draw up 3 guns/aux's to release a single gun/aux, to me, that seems like a bit of a waste of time when they already have very tight schedules, and limited time to release what they do. Players would also complain that there class's gun/aux isn't as good looking as another's, people would claim we're being biased to a certain class, because we're making their gun/aux look better. People would also complain less is being released, because more time is being used to produce 3 guns/aux's for no beneficial reason for the players or the Dev's.
For this reason, I am going to lock this topic up, and say that this suggestion isn't really a consideration, but thank you very much for the idea! If you have any more suggestions, please place them in the suggestions area of the board!
