I am having difficulties with this part of the forums. I want to avoid using it at all costs really, but now I have to find a post of the past for future reference.

If I wanted to search for my posts that I have made in a specific thread, how would I do that if I know the name of the thread? It seems not matter what I do, I continue to get errors for each search I make.

In that case, the thread has been deleted, or the name you're remembering is wrong, or your searching the wrong thread or time period.. That's the only three reasons I can think of that shows an error.
