Flags = competition = tenacity = I am out of here I will not be seen doing flags because it means I will be pushing my members to work harder than they would enjoy so I avoid this altogether. quote:
Literal Conversation During One Flag Run in the Past: Me: Hey, $%^, why are you not battling at all? We are doing flags and I need you to earn tokens. Guy: Oh... sorry boss but I don't feel like playing that much. Me: Well, we need you, if we have one guy sitting on the bench while everything doubles over to compensate for you it wouldn't be very nice to them would it? Guy: Well boss, I am terribly sorry that I don't really want to battle, and I don't mean to sound selfish, but I find no one in working over a game like a horse when I play to enjoy it. I play EpicDuel many hours in a week, and I do it to meet people like yourself and share the experience with everyone that I meet. If it is a big issue, I can leave if you want, I'm sure you could find someone to replace me. Me: ... Guy: Hello? Me: $%^, you made a great point. Why should I slave drive you guys, my pals just for our faction's name? I never meant to be stern, but I just wanted us to be known. But for what? It only detracts from your leisure time to force you to play with an attitude that you do not prefer to play EpicDuel with. I'm terribly sorry for making you guys dispense your tokens just to make our faction stronger. I think our faction's strong because of who is in it... our unity, not because of the effort maintained to keep it. I won't have you guys drain your energy anymore just for "looks". You can play as you want from now on. Again, sorry to push you like that. Guy: No problem boss :P. I'll be hanging around the Minetower for awhile. See ya later :P. Me: Cya around 'v'. After a week, a few faction members left, a few stayed, including the player with the cosmopolitan view. We became a casual faction. The one guy assisted me as co-founder for messages. After a few months people became inactive and I got bored, carelessly disbanding the faction. Those were rough times.
