Falaur -> J6 Story, please give feedback. (3/22/2012 22:34:52)

Here is my story! Sorry for the weird spacing, I copy and pasted it from word. Please give feedback!
The Ship Thief
J6 lowered his laser pistol down from the pilot’s head. The pilot’s bright green glowing eyes stared back.
“Glad we’re at an agreement.” He cheerfully replied to the man. J6 continued with the cocky speech play, “Your beauty of a space craft in trade for your life. I would have done the same.” J6 winked at the man then brought up his pistol back up to his head.
“There is only one problem,” He continued, “I don’t like loose ends.” The pilot gave off a muffled scream from the gag. J6 mercilessly let the 10 million volts of energy leap from his revolver, straight into the now dead space pilot.
Six weeks later…
“Date: March 12, 2864.” The machine crackled into life, scaring J6 from his deep slumber. His black hair flew across his face as he jumped up. The machine continued, but in a man’s voice. J6 looked at the control panel and saw it was the captain’s log that was playing.
“It’s gotten worse. This day Maya disappeared… and the voices continue… continue speaking…” J6 cautiously eyed the recorder as weird sounds made there way through. A low electronically sounding noise pulsed through the speakers. J6 made out a low voice through the static.
“I’m here… I’m here…” Then J6 finally noticed something. The captain’s log had stopped playing a while ago.
He whipped his revolver out from its holster and powered it up. I made a scaling sound that went from low to high. He turned around and swept the room with his gun. Nothing but the could grey walls of the quarters. “I’m coming…” Suddenly a pain bolstered through him sending him writhing to the floor, he moaned and screamed until one of his crewmembers burst through the door. “J6!” He slid across the floor and landed right next to him. He shook J6’s lifeless body. “Come, ON!” The crewmember slapped him hard across the face. J6’s eyes burst open. He pushed away the bumbling crewmember asking what’s wrong. J6 interrupted him with a cold, hard, “Enough.” J6 looked at the man and spoke. “What happened, Jon?” “I don’t know sir.” The burly crew members replied, then said “And by the way, call me the engineer.”
J6’s cold eyes swept the room. Minutes passed while J6 gained his breath and the engineer nervously stood there.
“Did you hear it?” J6 inquired to the scared man. The engineer gulped. “Hear what sir? I didn’t-“ J6 sharply cut him off. “Cut the sir crap. You just saved my life.”
The engineer looked up. “T-thanks sir. No wait! No I mean tha-“
J6 laughed heartily then pulled himself up with the help of the engineer. J6 started to walk away then paused. “You really didn’t hear it then?” J6 inquired.
“Not a whisper.” The engineer remarked as he walked away, leaving J6 to ponder his own sanity.
3 Days Later…
“Date: June 13, 2864.” The captain’s log burst in to life again, but this time it was J6’s voice playing. J6 sat back in his chair, thoughtfully thinking about the past few days. The log continued: “Another one gone… the fourth in two days. This time it was one of my fighters. Pretty girl, with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. One of my best crew members… Bad things are going on. The rest of my crew is paranoid for a good reason. I-“ J6 stopped the recording and slammed his fist into the wall. What had gone wrong? He had seized one of the finest ships in the whole galaxy, and better yet, he got away with it! Why was his crew disappearing? A dead captain come back to haunt his ship? J6 shook his head. If he knew one thing for certain, he knew it wasn’t ghosts.
Suddenly the door slammed open. J6 whipped around and pulled his gun up to the door. A man stepped through. His face was covered in scars, and he was holding a rifle right at J6’s head. The man suddenly spoke. “Don’t move, or I’ll shoot. I mean it captain.”
J6 spat on the ground. Mutiny. J6 didn’t think, he just rolled to the floor and shot the man in the chest. The dead crewmember’s gun sprayed the room as he fell dead on the ground. J6 rolled off the floor and slammed the door. Screams and bangs echoed through the it as J6 held his gun up expectantly. Nothing would have prepared J6 for what happened next.
An explosion ripped through the ship, sending J6 and the other members crashing to the ground. Suddenly the lights blacked out, leaving J6 stranded in the cold dark room. He came to his senses and slowly dragged himself across the floor, inching his way to the door.
He ripped the door open and almost fainted. The smell of burning electronics and flesh seeped through his nose causing an intense burning feeling. He coughed and looked around. The cold dark hall was stained with blood and burn marks. Bodies lined the entire hall.
“Uhhhhh…” J6 moaned as he leaned against the walls. It was all just too much for him to handle. Those were clean puncture wounds, definitely not from an explosion. He was fading away when I yell sounded through the hall. J6 hopped up and hobbled to the origin of the sound. He powered up his pistol and checked the ammo as he slowly walked his way there.
Before he knew it he had reached the door. Without hesitation he burst through the door with his pistol held out in front of him, but he saw nothing but grey walls. He looked down and noticed a trail of blood leading away, when another scream echoed through the halls. J6 was practically sprinting by the time he reached the end.
“Captain?” The engineer’s feeble voice was coming from a corner. J6 looked at the sad site. Blood soaked through his shirt and down onto the floor.
“I s-swear J6 I tried to stop them, told them the d-disappearances had nothing to do with you, that you w-were a great… AHHHHHH!”
J6 slid across the floor next to him. He whipped out a syringe and before the engineer could react he jammed it into his leg.
The engineer let of another bloodcurdling scream, “AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!”
The effects were amazing and instantaneous. The wound healed, the shadows under his eyes disappeared. He was a changed man. He grabbed an energy rifle from of the ground and powered it up.
J6 helped him up, and then said, “This is it. We are finding out who is doing this and why.” He held up his revolver. “And then were gonna kill ‘em.”
They started walking when a voice sounded through the intercom. It didn’t faze J6. They had just been walking for about 5 minutes when the engineer spoke up. “Uhh, J6? Where are we going?” J6 just replied, “You’ll see.” Then kept walking. The engineer wondered if he had gone mad, but decided not to bring it up.
J6’s pace became faster as they walked down a set of stairs. The silence was broken by J6 saying, “Have you ever wondered about the engine? Searched the whole ship and never found it. But that didn’t matter back then. All there was to it was this beauty of a ship. That is were we’re going.”
Suddenly they came across a metal door with a huge keep out sign plastered to the front of it. They tried the door but no luck, it was locked. J6 fumbled around in his pocket and pulled out a green device. “You might want to stand back.” J6 calmly stated as he stuck the explosive to the side of the door. They both took up positions at the side of the doors and waited for the count down. J6 slammed a button on the breaching explosive and it started. “10…” They both stood in silence wondering what was on the other side. “9…” J6 looked at the engineer. “Be careful.” “8…” The engineer smiled at him. “See ya on the other side.”
“7… 6… 5… 4…. 3… 2… 1….” The device made a low swooping sound then went up in a huge fireball. They saw the door collapse and rushed through.
They barely made it 3 feet through when something yanked them off their feet. They swung up into the air hanging upside down. “HAHAHAHA!” A terrible low voiced laugh hit them with such force the both clasped their hands to their ears. As J6 swung around he got a horrific glimpse of what was producing the sound. Stuck in the center of the room was a huge deformation of something. Off color white made up the most of its body, with one big red eye stuck in the center. Its gaping mouth opened and closed as it greedily sucked in air. Tentacles were sticking out from all over its body, and suddenly J6 realized what was holding him up.
“YOU THINK YOU COULD STOP ME?!?” It screamed out every word at a terrific volume. It seemed to calm down a bit and continued speaking, “Let me tell you and little bit about myself, as you’re probably pretty curious.” It seemed to think it just told the funniest joke in the galaxy, as it let off another torrent of laughter. “Back when this ship first came into existence, the creators knew they had something special on their hands. Not just any high tech security system would do to protect such a ship, so it needed me.” It seemed to even forget it was talking to two prisoners, as it had a far off sound to its voice. It seemed to enjoy talking about its importance. “They needed something intelligent. Something to tell who were the rightful owners, and who were the pirates. And you, mister J6, are the pirate.
Much to J6’s horror it started to slowly drag him closer to it. Closer and closer, over its gaping maw.
To be continued…
