MirageD -> A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 12:09:14)

i have had several lvl 30+ partners in 2v2 that enter battle with no armor, no weapons and basic primary.....does this happen in 1v1 also?? why do ppl do this? discuss...is it for the challenge?

Fay Beeee -> RE: A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 12:16:17)

I have had a few in 1v1.
Always found it a bit odd. I do ask where are their weapons? But usually no reply. Sometimes they say they are saving.

Still odd though.

yeah....i've heard the "saving" thing too....but seems odd at lvl 30 + ??

These players waste credits during the low levels and when they get to level 30 they don't have enough to buy high level armor/primary/gun. Many weapons from level 20-30 are expensive and are only good a few levels, then you have to buy something better. If they decrease the price of lower level weapons, maybe we would get partners in 2vs2 that have good equipment.

Luna_moonraider -> RE: A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 12:24:43)

ok reasons y people have no armor no anything is they waste credits and do not know how to conserve credits. the game has no tutorial on saving credits and there is no warning if a person sell all his weps. and the reason for the influx of noobs in 2v2 is because in 2v2 a noob can have "help" from a lvl 34 because the lvl 34 will do anything to win they stay there to leech the efforts of the lvl 34. also 2v2 rewards are much greater than 1v1.most noobs like to play 1h before power hour, 1 h after power hour and during power hour as some of these noobs know that there is a power hour and the know they can get X2 exp and X2 credits but they do not know when is the power hour so the might come earlier or later thus explaining the influx of noobs 1h before power hour, 1 h after power hour and during power hour . most noobs only care about lvl up to max lvl they do not care about credits. The main goal of a noob is to reach lvl 34 at all cost.

some of these lvl 30 say they got "hacked" most just keep silent and tell those who say they got "hacked" to go and do npcs

We currently have an initiative to make weapons more affordable more often. Will hopefully make this less of an issue. If there are any other reasons you think people might be getting to high levels without the gear they need, please let me know.

Stabilis -> RE: A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 15:42:49)

Is the initiative involving sellback and cost? If so I would definitely support bringing those two more close together.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 15:55:05)

they always say they were hacked to me but I always say that no one gets hacked, they give away their account info in some way, usually at a promise for free varium.

Cyberbeast10 -> RE: A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 16:51:38)

They must have not conserved the credits very well. On my first character, I too was in that state of having no equipments, this was mainly because I kept retraining to test other builds; buying, selling weapons and such. Its a beginner's mistake; but its a mistake that happens late in the game and so is very hard to avoid.

Emptiness -> RE: A New Trend?? (3/23/2012 16:54:59)

Usually because they don't manage they're credits very well, this needs to be fixed i can't imagine how many accounts have been discarded due to this. The only thing that ticks me off about this is when they're your partner in 2vs2, even if they go first you don't have a very big advantage as they'll probably just hit 3s and get killed in 2-3 rounds. In 1vs1 it's not much of a problem for you, just an easy kill. Either a requirement should be instituted in 2vs2 for players who lack required items to minimize the negative affect it has on others game experience. A solution could be something like putting in more credit rewards missions for players, or maybe a daily jackpot, every battle you play you get the chance to win an amount of credits ranging from 100-1000, could be like a 5% drop rate.
