Cheers, ~Practel Q: When will we see new finals for the (new) classes? A: Probably sooner than later. The new mercenary skill was built in less than 3 hours. New skills are introduced faster and faster. Please post your suggestions on the forums. Balance changes are done incrementally to see what affects what, rather than buffing and nerfing everything at once. Q: @Titan - If there was one thing you could (want) implement but you can't, what would it be? A: Woo, there's all kinds of things. For example, I can't currently make the changes that I need to do the faction changes I want until I build the more boring backend stuff. Q: On New Promo Packs A: We're currently discussing a new method to do packages. The plan is to allow you to select your own addons in a package. Rather than being forced to get the same promo when buying a package again, you are able to select your own. Q: Are there any plans on Tactical Mercenaries? A: At the moment, there are no direct plans for this class. The last thing we did placed them in a place we feel pretty good about. Q: On Testing 2vs2 A: It's harder to test 2vs2 compared to 1vs1. We listen to your feedback to see how we can improve. Q: How much practice in code is required to get used to it? A: Once you start doing it, you'll learn very quickly, I don't think it's too touch to learn or master. Q: What programming language is the game written in? A: The client, being the part that you see is written in Action Script 3. Server side, it is written in Java. We don't actually write Java, surprisingly it is written in Action Script 1. Q: What qualifications do you need to be a coder in Artix Entertainment? A: I feel it's not about your resume or about some line you put in the application. If you make something or have a project to show, it's more effective. Q: Why aren't armors released as often? A: Armors are harder to makes - they have to be made for each class, each gender and they're very detailed. Q: On 'Auction Markets' A: It's not a likely feature because it makes people prone to scamming. It's an exploit of the ingame system, so the Help Team can't resolve the issue. Q: On 2vs2 NPCs A: From the storyline perspective, I personally like it because some NPCs are paired (eg. Hank and Valestra) Q: On NPC AI A: The NPC AI is outdated and needs an overhaul. We've introduced new features but haven't updated the NPCs. They're dumb to certain things, like the thorns. They just run into you and kill themselves. Q: Is it possible to sell a Limited Quantity Item and placed back in the shop? A: It's definitely possible to implement. It would probably fall of the priority list and you probably won't see it soon. Q: Can NPCs 2vs1 you? A: We just need to change up the AI and make NPCs smarter. It's definitely possible. Q: Why don't NPCs have auxiliaries? A: It goes at the same lines as AIs. We've put this low in the priority list for a while.
