What if there were Physical & Energy version of every weapon?

For Example:

A physical version of Kurz Elite, how awesome would that be?

No. Just no. I could easily switch my Egg Gun to energy damage and hit for even bigger numbers because of Malf and Deadly Aim while keeping the stats of the physical which include strength.

He's just Saying what if there were physical and energy versions of every weapon in the game. There are actually some WEPS like that, say Frostbane and azreal bane. Identical but different in damage output

This doesn't seem like a horrible idea and is already in use with lots or "rare-er" weapons. E.g Rixty, Stun Blasters, etc.
I'm not sure I would want a different version of every weapon but maybe that's just me :).

If I see Kurz Elite, I do not wanna be checking to see if it's energy or physical, I want my knowledge of the game to actually be useful. I know with
armours you need to check, but then I always check my enemies def and res, having to check all their other weapons too would be a chore.

I definitely do not support :) their is enough weapons in the game, we don't need to start duplicating them.

yeah, they already have quite a few. Aka serpent striker/blaster. Unless you mean exact same stat modifiers instead of opposite. If that is the case that would be cool I guess. [8D]

Well this was intended on making an opposite of the weapon.
For Example:

Serpent Blaster and Serpent Striker.

Kurz Elite, alternative is but physical gives 12 Technology instead of 12 Dexterity etc....

Aside from the obvious coding issues, this could potentially create several balance problems (certain weapons would just be too outrageously powerful in their opposite form) as well as somehow manage to create a large quantity of complaining for various reasons. I'm afraid I simply cannot support this idea.

Yes, I know. I sound like ND right now. Creepy.

Maybe for only weapons that are Limited rare, rare, etc...?
