Is there a limit to the banner file/pixel size? Are we allowed png files as banners?

Not signautres, banners, like the ones you use in Clan Threads.

500x100 50Kb is the limit for signatures.
Each board have its own policy, most does not allow using of the [ image ] tag at all.
The clans board allow a maximum of 750x750 200Kb
