The idea of a "Daily Spin" is simple. Each day you get one spin, with different prizes. Maybe a region on the spinner for 250 Varium, as the rest are tokens, credits, experience, etc...

I like it, maybe include some weapons, but make the varium extremely rare.

Kinda reminds me of the FB game i used to play .... but i think i would agree as long as the the Prizes aren't too big .

I wish that could be the percentages, but remember. Varium is considered special PPL pay for their varium. This option seriously says that if luck loves me, i can get 250 varium each day i play, and seriously, that can troll hard. And also, others might simply feel bad that they never win maybe for like a whole year. It really would be more reasonable to have a 5% to get 5 varium each day then that. I really don't want the daily spin to give a huge advantage to a player (Armors for example, are more worthy then jackpot) This means that a loyal player with average luck can get around around 100 varium each year.
I really don't think the devs would like to give out so much varium as to ppl can get varium advantages in weapons, as that seriously makes the already expensive varium more worthless.
This is more reasonable.
Daily Spin
50% For Either a HP or Energy Boost
25% For 100 Credits
10% For 200 Credits
5% For 5 Varium
3% For 1000 Credits (More worthy then 5 Varium 3.5k=1 enhance, 50 varium = 1 enhance, 5 varium=0.1 enhance, 1000 creds = around 1/3 enhance)
2.99% For 2000 Credits
0.01 % For something special.
This way, an average player can get around 22000+11000+7300+18250=58500 and about 100 varium.
This is equal to 6 enhances, which is definitely a reward for a loyal player, yet at the same time, it prevents variums complaining that their weps are losing worth cuz we can't really get their weps.
Even then, i still think this is a bit too much as a reward of loyalty.

Exactly; lets just get Ballyhoo in here already - b/c its going to happen eventually anyway! Don't forget - Ballyhoo is (on average) free advertising for AE which equates to real money. Therefore, the rare small Varium drops will be totally earned and, if it stays rare and small, won't affect the Varium economy.

You would not need to give people our currency by random luck if only you would have suggested how to fix the f2p to p2p game, which goes in the balance thread...

I have no qualms giving players free prizes, but when some random conceited guy gets 1000 varium free while I have to pay $20 of my own money for the same benefit... something seems wrong... I am pretty sure that you have to get confirmation from Titan/Nightwraith regarding varium discussion anyhow before talking about changing prices or making it free.

That feature was released a month ago. If you are a member in that game you get 2 spins a day but if you're a free player(like me) you get one spin a day. The drops there contain coins(50 gp - 10k), lamps(small, medium or large or specific skill lamp), strong items and some goodies as well. God swords are also there if you get very lucky.

To add up , in the idea...

You get only once chance/turn to do , each day ! So you only get 1 try everyday , and this way it would be "Ultimately Fair" and you need to be "Ultra Lucky" to win ;)

Cut the varium out and paste in credits, 100 000 credits is worth more than 250 varium even.

If you want to have the funding players receive less of a benefit without even adding "varium prices should be lowered", then why should I support this?

The idea is good, ED needs something to keep players log in daily. Even if it's just for a moment.

But ED is a PvP game, maybe this could be fused with PvP battling somehow? Like doing 20 PvP battles rewards you a daily gift.

How about a fixed prize when you log in?(You get 1 per day)

250 credits sounds good or maybe have it like a spinning wheel but without the spinning part. You log in and win a guarateed...prize.

or even better idea?? 20 fame's per day, when you log in , what say?? this way , it would be easy for players to earn fame's, and maybe fame begging could be reduced!


Note* those 20 fame's don't count on L.B .

Or how about the prize you get gets raised per week ?

EXAMPLE :
Week 1 : x1 of Prize
Week 2 - 3 : x2 of Prize
Week 4 - 6 : x3 of Prize

Then if it's a new month , the multiplier resets back to x1

NOTE : Only works on Credits , Varium and BTs .

Not that I dont like free stuff, but we already get drops, which pretty much is this free spin, especially when we get a spin chance every 20 battles. Now, replacing this with drops would be cool. Something like you get a spin every 20 wins with a chance of winning rusted gear, broken gear, or gems/crystals.

To get that you need top play , + get lucky , while spin is only luck .*No play ! ( so you could win daily, within few mins..of ED playing, rather play for long , and still no drop! )

I like Jari's Idea you do 20 fights, you don't have to win 20 fights just do 20, and you get to spin the wheel.


Also looking at however made up some percentages it reminds me of the joke we had about the Arcade back on EDF with no prize being 75% of the time(sadly we where rather close to reality)

Are the Armor/Aux/Wep/Gun a Random one...?

Cuz it would suck to get Junker Armor from one spin and Beast Rider from another

H-h-how is this? 50,000 Credits per Class Change or 900 Varium and 100,000 is enough for two Changes which would be 1800 Varium. In my opinion, 100,000 Credits is as worthy as 1800 Varium...
