Here is where you talk about the war stories!

Cataclysm -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/14/2012 1:43:12)

I think I'll break from tradition and write a story here while holding another story still actively. This one probably won't be the greatest, but it'll be a warm up to get me back into the style and feel for the characters of Cataclysm. Don't expect anything grand, but I'll throw something up tomorrow. I gotta get my 350 kills in today, yet. Tomorrow as well.

Mortarion -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/15/2012 0:07:26)

Posted my story, tell me what do you think of it

Dwelling Dragonlord -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/16/2012 5:11:02)

I made a little introduction to my trip.

@Mortarion:
quote:

HE looked absently at the crystal in his chest.

Any specific reason as to why he is fully capitalized? Other than that, it's fine to give us an insight as to how Mortarion battles.

Mortarion -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/16/2012 5:32:09)

Slight mistake on my part, and as you have read my storie, this is after my storie finnishes it's Malorum's part

Kinzdor -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/16/2012 5:48:38)

You know I always use Kinzvlle for these kind of things. Chain and Steve never get any love! Might just right something about Chain, commanding HAS in this war, while Kinz is away. Wonder if I could work Steve in there.

Cataclysm -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/17/2012 21:04:05)

Another journey into mediocrity. I felt this one more, but I just didn't get a lot of writing in. Pity. I was trying to write more, but the writing just shrugged and said "No. You're done writing for now."

It is what it is.

Mordred -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/17/2012 21:45:33)

Don't feel down about it, man. A story should be a living thing; sometimes it is out of even the writer's grasp. It's not an easy art. Everyone's experienced things they just can't do. I've had my own stories that have withered and died; every writer has.

Cataclysm -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/18/2012 0:00:35)

I think it's mostly that I haven't been writing much, and what I have been writing, has been distinctly non-action-y, which is the opposite of what Cataclysm is. I'm not much used to writing anymore and I'm even less used to writing action scenes. There's also that writing has always just kinda flowed for me, so having to really ponder seems just downright strange to me.

That, and I'm always ridiculously self conscious and overly self-critical, in everything, everywhere. Retrospectively, I think I did a good job with this section, I just feel like I could've made it longer and more awesome. About 20% more awesome. (Pardon the last sentence; other than that, it was entirely serious.)

Elryn -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/18/2012 6:31:39)

A part from a part in the beginning, it is fine by me, Cataclysm. Splendid as always.

If I get around to finishing mine (which is terribly short, but somehow I have not gotten around), I will post it. Hopefully, today.

Edit: Posted.

Mordred -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/19/2012 23:14:22)

Updated my story. I'm really liking Beaumont now. ^^

Glais -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/20/2012 4:15:23)

@^:The ending...Alucard vs Tubalcain Alhambra?

Mordred -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/20/2012 6:21:13)

No, I've only seen the fight scene with Luke Valentine. :P

I really enjoy this new story. It's fairly different from my usual stuff.

Cataclysm -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/21/2012 15:01:29)

I'll wait for Sunday, then I think I'll read through all the stories. By then, I figure most people will have completed them. I'll give some feedback once I've read them all.

I also finished my story last night, so I'm done writing for now. I liked my final update.

Mordred -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/23/2012 14:20:11)

I finished my warstory and posted the end. It's much longer than I expected it to be. XD I feel the fight scene with Fiamme is... really bad, but I don't really know where to go with it. I'm very much happy with everything else, though. Very slight connection to some of my other work(s) as well. Sir Mordred is from my entry to the Character Backstory contest, if any of you remember.

The Odor -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/24/2012 17:54:52)

I have posted another bit of my warstory today. So read it before the thread is lost to time. Or you know... Don't.

Razen -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Rising Fire! War Stories and Poetry Discussion (4/25/2012 7:32:03)

Just got to reading Mordred's Warstory, I will say, it was good...looked like it might've had a few errors though. But, it was only...like two. So, no problem-o.

I suppose TCO, DD, and Elryn are the others on my list then? I'll try to get to them later today.
