Hello forum,

This is going to be a periodically updated thread with different topics maybe once every week or two.

The theme here is discussing past implementations and how they affect us today.

The first topic is... Swords. Do you think that swords are still too powerful compared to class-specific weapons, that we should not be able to use some skills with swords such as Maul or Massacre?

We actually can't use maul or massacre with a sword.

Well for me i haven't seen many people using swords so i dont think they are powerful.

I think Mercenary and Tactical Mercenary's should be should be able to maul with sword.

Sword + Massacre = It will look bad and will be over powered. But thats just my opinion.

@Skeleton,

I'm saying, that swords have used to have a significant stat advantage over class-specific weapons, and want to know if you think the 2 are more balanced, allowing Nightwraith and Charfade to animate swords for these skills.

Also.note that the most powerful primary weapon is a sword.

Swords are more powerful then normal weapons because the normal weapons allow you to use every move on your skill tree no ifs ans or buts about it. While swords offer a higher number of stat modifiers and in most cases a high damage the fact that they lack the ability to use some skills evens this out.

Well, im with class weapons, because with sword, my build would be useless.......

Swords aren't OP, They are UP if u ask me

Swords are in the OK place because they give huge amounts of stats for the price of some skills that I don't use much
