Silent blood -> Poison (4/22/2012 19:39:53)

poison does 12-13 dmg for 3 turns (at max)
do you think poison should be able to be
debuffed by assault bot so say someone poisons
you and you use assault bot special and make it
like -3 for 3 turns, but what do you guys think?

You can debuff Bio Borg, so yeah I think you should be able to debuff Poison.

But Poison is the only way to defeat the Mega-Tanks with like 40 DEF and 33 RES...

Tactical Mercenaries and Cyber Hunters, mostly, with a sprinkling of Mercenaries.

well that is the 3 classes with passive armours. I think it's more a problem with those skills completely breaking the game,
at least in the case of Mineral and Plasma Armour. if they were removed, would you consider Poison being debuffable?

Sure, but maybe debuffed as in removes a TURN of poison, not 80%, as it is an interesting skill to use in strategies. :P

i dont think a skill that costs 33 mana points be debuffed and or give your opponent health
In my eyes the skill is bad enough as it is and should be slightly enhanced in a way not debuffed.

I'm with Psycho. Tanks exist, even without passive Armors. Examples can be Dex/Tech BMs and TMs as well as BHs, whatever combination. Poison is good as it is, it's unblockable damage yes but you can do the same but in 1 hit with skills like Plasma Bolt/Fireball or any damaging ones. Players that go for high/max Poison usually will need points in other skills to be effective as well as good defences and attack.
Poison wasn't the problem before Evolved classes nor before CHs were buffed so skill is fine. Bot already debuffs way too much so this is really making skill useless - if Poison can be debuffed then why not debuff all the other skills rather than kill one completely; non Variums have Rusted bot and Variums have Assault, Bio or Azrael so Poison would be rendered useless skill aka needing a buff? e.e

Poison is great, OP because it is damage independent, UP for energy consumption.

if poison can get debuffed then TLM will be left with nothing lol
anyway i think poison is good the way it is. if they start twiking it they will
end up messing everything up.
i hate when i get poisoned but i don't think it needs be debuffed.

Poison build have been already nerfed, and 5 focus got affected also, so i don't think there is reason to debuff it again...

So.. you guys are whining about that tactical needs to get nerfed until it doesnt even have point to play with? Dont whine because you just havent bought same much varium that they did and thats why they are better than you, just find a better strategy. Its not unfair, its fair because people who have paid for varium really deserve to win others.

I am a TLM and I dont use poison, but it is fine where it is at.
No one ever deserves to win under no circumstances, it must
be earned. I do believe in having an edge but not a guaranteed
victory.

no debuff to poison, we don't want to kill the skill. The only thing about poison: it should be the same for evry class: TLM poison has no requirement, 39 poison damage+ initial damage that can't be blocked.
