If a question has been answered properly, and someone insists to post in it again, the following can happen. If it is a necro-bump, the post will be deleted and the poster contacted. If the information is irrelevant, a discussion, spam, etc... the same will happen. If it is not a necro-bump, and the information is usefull to the OP, it will be left alone. And locking every thread after being answered would give more work rather then doing the above in case something happens. And it indeed happens that the OP asks another question around the same topic, keeping it in 1 thread makes things easier for the OP and for everyone else. Hijacking is still not alowed though, if you have a question yourself and are not the OP, posting a question in another thread is hijacking and will be dealt with accordingly.
