There's no official thread for banners to be tested. The maximum limit is about 750x750, but some threads don't allow for you to put up any banners for display. The only ones that I know of are the Artistic Request area, the UCaG area, the DF Guides section. There may be more, but I don't know. Hopefully someone else will have a more detailed answer.

Well, I would first advise you to read the rules regarding banners (depends where you wish to place it) and check for yourself if it is ok.
Contacting an AK of that forum section might be a better more direct approach since banners do differ from signatures and avatars.

To see the size of the banner, just right click on the picture and then image information or something similar to it.

Thank you, yea it's going in clan section , I read it somewhere in the clan section rules about the size of banners but that rule seemed to have disappeared.
