I never tried to protect cyberhunters. I have posted repeatedly that I think they need to remove emp. what I'm saying is that other than those emp abuser builds, we aren't that overpowered. And like I said before, I barely play my cyberhunter character because I find the strategies that you have to use with that class boring. I much prefer my tacmerc. So no I am not trying to protect my class. I agree with you guys and you still jump down my throat. lol

@liy010: every Merc skill EXCEPT the 2 passives use energy. how can you actually justify CH's control with EMP by saying Mercs don't need energy anyway?

And what else have we got without Energy regen and not knowing what's next? We both, Mercs and CHs, have passive Armors. You have always EMP which unblockable, we have it at Tier 4 and blockable, but you have SC which can regenerate and we have nothing. Bot MAY disable SC, that's for one fight NOT whole class. Lower levels - damage is all that counts; look at Str BHs, Caster TMs and described Mercs - damage is what counts for them and only means of survival against other glass cannons. At high Level, we use every strategy possible which also changes depending on fight - you cannot allow yourself to use Bunker and Heal, be out of EP and be stuck whilst other classes can regain EP, HP or something. We must think our move carefully so we can win, not repeat strategy or loop.

great post ^^ Mercs get one run at it, then become ENTIRELY reliant on primary, gun, aux and robot damage.
any options they may of had are taken away by 1-2 EMPs. then the Cyber just loops behind epic defences.

As a TLM I usually use poison and my atom smasher and force them into a different
kind of fight.

I use tank strength tlm and yeah, atom smasher on them and deal some pretty decent damage till they can gain their energy back, then atom smasher again. :p

TLM is a bad example to use though, as they also have a stat busting game breaking passive armour and reroute.

it is such a huge advantage to have 2 armours.

CH are hardly op i can kill most of them before they even have the chance too massacre, and as a former CH i can say without a good build you're going to lose.. a lot.

True enough. But I can speak from experience on my cyberhunter that I lose a lot to strength massacre bh's, and caster techmages. Mercs stand little chance and bm stands little chance, but the rest can win with the right build and strategy.

well hate to break the news to you carabuno, but if balance tracker shows BMs are still over performing, Bludgeon replacing Berzerker will not be the only nerf.
that's what the staff said right before they switched those skills. so we shall see if it is really you beating most CHs, or just the OP combination of class and build.

Yes, and may we NOT count build that relies on Str abuse or any other abuse of a stat? Not every one of us are abusers so fact abusing may beat OP class does not mean it's balanced, because balanced means that also builds are somewhat balanced, certainly not abusers.
Yes, yes I am assuming you may be Str BM with your items, carabuno.

When we had smoke, technician and the ability to switch our defense that was a bit over the top.

Playing as when i was a tacmerc i won most the time again CH too so yeah I could kill them fairly easy with 2 out of the 3 evolved classes unless they had a really good build and im not 100% as a BM either.

2/3 Evolved classes.. Payer's advantage, not everyone have money to pay and what about 3 base ones? Didn't try? Or maybe didn't win? Chances should be for everyone, not for payers. As we said, this proves nothing. TLMs were OP, BMs were OP, so surely they will tackle another OP class unlike balanced/UP classes, no? -.-

It shouldn't be "One build to rule them all!", which is what CHs are. One build can take out all classes, may lose but mainly win. Not saying specific build should win, but each build has advantages as well as disadvantages, CHs do not have one. So players either rely on luck or actually manage to win it, which is also luck. ;)

This is true trans, which is why I have agreed that emp should be taken away, but without it, we will no longer be able to control a battle like that and hence, won't be that op'ed anymore.

Also as my main class of merc when i was non-varium i killed a lot varium or varium same level CH that wernt so op
*note I was never TLM when they were op i had varium for almost a month just about so i was never a BM with beserker or a TLM with smoke. Im pretty sure as a BH I could kill a lot of the CH players as a statement of ive been Cyber twice and almost lost twice as much as i won against BH.

I wasn't saying that Mercs don't use Energy, I was just saying that since a Merc has no Energy control, it wouldn't affect them if one of their skills were disabled. Heck, I'm all for Nerfing/Removing EMP and maybe give Mercs a bit more Energy Control.

The class is balanced, all I'm hearing is butthurt. It's the same people here who complained about tactical mercs and how oped they were. Look at the class it's dead now, just learn to accept the current balance and no one gets hurt in game.

@Angels: TLM isn't dead, and if the elitist snobs with their "I must win" attitude had not mass class changed to be OP the nerfs to TLM, CH and BM
might of not been so brutal. but hey, they must win so here we are. nice job. player base needs to shoulder a lot of the blame, not forum members.

Ok, they might've been OP back then but it's not dead. In fact, TLM is one of the most Strategic and fun Classes to use. I'm thinking of buying some Varium on my alt just to try it out!

Reroute + Field Commander + Artillery = 2v2 Support build hurray!

Reroute + Surgical Strike + Atom Smasher = 1v1 boss build hurray!

I have tried these builds at only 66% power and they are a joy take it frome me.

@liy010: I definitely owe you an apology, misread you completely :)

I also have been enjoying TLM, although I always use very low str, whether I go full support, full tank or a mix of both. definitely a lot of fun and so many build
options. I can mix n match from Artillery, Poison, Surgical and Stun grenade. The strength skills are no use to me cause of my gear, except Field Commander.
