Camoflague MerC -> What would epicduel be like........ (5/21/2012 5:19:42)

Without blocks, deflections, critical hits or even robots for that matter.
I would like some feedback from the community on this one.

Str abuse and whoever starts first wins. Why? Maximum damage cannot be blocked or deflected, so if you start first you have the winner.

Str mages and merc and CH tank builds would probably be on top

I guess you guys are right :P
But there still needs to be alot of work done regarding balance

@camo Even after that it would be non variums and lower levels losing all the time after that. It's only at the really low levels that strategy is capable of beating the item advantage of varium/higher level enemies. Not to mention that every match would be cut and dry and pre-determined. Why? Because my damage would always be a constant and they would almost always heal to stay alive. A little math and I would be able to know who wins before the first blow is struck.

By the sounds of things this is all going to launch into a balance discussion, which is to stay in the designated topic. I know there is a long way to go before balance, but in an always evolving PvP game, there will always be balance issues that pop up, and we will always be trying our best to fix these as they come up. Removing certain features like said above is certainly not a solution, as it creates complete unbalance towards certain builds - If you have an issue with balance, please state it in the Balance Discussion topic, and present a solution. I can guarantee you that it will be read, and if it's a possible solution, it will be considered.
