I'm kind of curious of what this symbol ([image]http://forums2.battleon.com/f/image/newpost.gif[/image]) means.

It's used to denote a stickied thread that has a new post in it (i.e., a post has been made in it within the past 24 hours). (A stickied thread is one that has been permanently placed at the top of the forum, usually FAQ/rule threads.)

That symbol is applied to boards which has sticky topics.
When highlighted shows, Posts within last 24 hours because that thread needs replies that's why they are tagged Sticky.
