Hey guys,

I had a new idea for an Armor.

The Delta Knight Armor was a Hybrid Mutating Armor with +5 P/E defence (10 in Total).

I had a new idea for a Custom Mutation Armor

How it works

We'll name this new Armor as "Prototype A"

So, I want to buy Prototype A.
It will cost X Credits and X Varium
The stats are the same as Delta Knight (Stats don't matter)
Upon purchase, the Armor has 10 Defence points I can use
Say I was using a Dex build, I want high Resistance so I will put all 10 into Resistance so it will have +10 on Resistance (So works like an E Armor)
Say I was using a Focus build with High Tech, I want to put some points into Resistance but most into Defence. I put 3 into Resistance and 7 into Defence. The armor now becomes sort of a Hybrid Armor except it has +3 on Resistance and +7 on Defence
Say I wanted a Support Merc build but I lack Tech and Dex (Lacks more Tech). I can put 6 points into Defence and 4 into Resistance so I can have even Defence and Resistance
These points can only be customized upon purchase so say I changed my build and wanted to allocate the points differently. I would have to buy the Armor again.

I think this would be really cool and adds variety to builds.

I hope it can get implanted and comments are welcome :)

That is a really good idea. It would work great for one of my dex builds, because I could put +3 into defence, and +7 into resistance, and not worry about having too much resistance with delta knight or another energy armor, and not worry about having too much defence with a physical armor.

Buying Armor again just to change stats would be a bit of an overkill, since you gotta re-enhance it... xD
How about making it Varium fee for re-adjusting Defences again? I'd say 50% of Armor's Varium cost would be good enough, so if Armor was 1K Varium, you gotta pay 500 Varium to change it but of course, first change is free which is upon purchasing the Armor. :P

Idea is quite decent nevertheless! Wouldn't mind seeing it in the future as Rare item maybe? ;)

i disagree with both [meaning the two ideas] because
1 if a mercenary has it it will be too powerful and making 5 into 10 boost of points of each forever in the duel
2 even if it isn't to strong it will be too cheap making the other armors look like they are useless
but if they can change all the other stats of every other armor and make them change it's defense of physical and energy it
could look like its useful but then every other player that's 29 or up can get it so quickly and i can go on and on about the
problems but if u think its a good idea go for it and maybe idk u can change it for varium for 20 and if u ran out of
varium 150 crs?

What if the total def/res of the armor would only be +8 to prevent it from being overpowered, because the whole point is to be able to customize the stats. Maybe only +6....?

10 is way to much, 8 is to much, 6 sounds great to me. If this is even added, doubt it will be, unfortunate to say. But the truth hurts e.e

Bringing this back alive with a opinion of my own.

10 is way to much...Okay...8 Is way to much...Not really, but sure...6 is perfect...Uhhhhh, No.

Lets say we had 6. +6 can be Customized to...

P---E
+0 +6
+1 +5
+2 +4
+3 +3
+4 +2
+5 +1
+6 +0

Now, all of those are overshadowed by our current Hybrid Armor, the Delta Knight. Since if you go +5 in 1 type of Defence, it leaves you with 1 in the other while Delta Knight can give +5 and +5 more instead of just +1
If you decide to go +6 all in 1 stat, it is on Par with the Predator Armor/Seraph Armor/Power Armor (Level 28) and is overshadowed by Exile Solider/New City Guard/Imperial Mage

A bit too UP now?

The idea is a good one but only if it is restrained somewhat, like 6-7 defense points. Being able to adjust them accordingly to your build already gives a huge advantage.
Yes it would be a less amount than Delta Knight but Delta Knights defenses are static, its a promotional item, and not to mention the first and possibly for sometime the only armor of its kind.
