Welcome to the thread where you can register any competition that you are interested in doing and a Mod or AK will check it and approve it if it meets all of the rules. As a reminder, you may only be part of a single competition at a time, and you must have your competition approved by a Mod or AK before you post your thread. Name of Competition: Limited Colour Challenge Purpose of Competition: To make a piece of art (tag, drawing, etc) with a limited colour scheme Rules/Restrictions: You can only use the five colours provided in the scheme. You can blend the colours together for shading but you cannot add any different base colours. One piece per person. Any type of visual art welcome. Participants in Competition: Anybody who wants to join. Approved! When you get a list of joinees, make sure you post them here. Name of Competition: The Gallery SotW (Sig of the Week) Purpose of Competition: Weekly (:p) competition for signature makers Rules/Restrictions:Various themes per week that are to be met. Pieces must be under 360000 square pixels in area. Voting will be public, set in a different thread. Participants in Competition: Open registration notes: I could run this if wanted and I'm hoping you still have the threads archived :p If so, we could just use those, possibly cleaning out the winners thread so I could post those I think this is a fancy idea as well. Since this is a consistently running thing with a shifting pool of artists, it will not count towards your one competition rule. ~superjars

Name of Competition: The 30-Day Art Challenge Purpose of Competition: This is meant to challenge the artist to create something based on the criteria for that day. Rules/Restrictions: Any medium may be used. Art must be made that day Participants in Competition: Anyone willing. This sounds like a really great challenge and could be absolutely amazing for people to do. It reminds me of NaNoWriMo, but for artists! Go for it, I hope a lot of people jump onboard! ~superjars

Name of Competition: The 30 day Redraw contest! Purpose of Competition: The contest owner posts one picture each day. The people who enter have to redraw that picture in any format (sketch, flash etc.) Rules/Restrictions: If sketching, you cannot print the picture off and copy it. If you enter the pic on photobucket etc you can't delete the photo. Participants in Competition: Anyone willing to join!

Name of Competition: The Random Art Competition Purpose of Competition:Once every two weeks you can submit an art piece. Then everyone votes for which they like the best. However voting isn't based on the art itself, it is based on the creativity and randomness of the piece. it can be a tag, flash drawing sketch or anything else. Runs every 2 weeks.
