how do i post just a picture? or do i have to link it?

Some forums allow image posting however those are mostly for banners in the gallery among the creative art boards,guilds etc. For normal usage in the forums as long as the image in question follows the rules of the forum it must be linked.

That is the code for posting images, but only use it in the forums that allows them to be used, for general use just link the image.

What Hollow Knight means is that:

Copy an Image Link location,
Press image button on top of the message you are about to post: 
[image]http://forums2.battleon.com/f/avatars/DragonFable/NPCs/GraveAvatar.jpg[/image]
Result is:
[image]http://forums2.battleon.com/f/avatars/DragonFable/NPCs/GraveAvatar.jpg[/image]
