Seahawk pm glitch? (Full Version)

woodwoodlee -> Seahawk pm glitch? (7/7/2012 22:34:33)

I've messaged Seahawk 2 times already like 5 days ago to put something as my avatar. He never replied back or anything. Would this be a pm glitch or is Seahawk just busy?

You not suppose to keep PMing the same avatars, even if Seahawk didn't see it yet, he doesn't replied back to PMs with avatars as far I know and he can be busy thus not being able to see the PM yet (or when he does read, he might not upload them for awhile if busy, unless they aren't any good)

Another thing you should take note of is that you have the word "Wood" in the image of that avatar; and Wood is a part of your username, so it looks like that avatar is personal. Seahawk will only upload images that are up for public use; and not of personal use. So it's more than likely that your avatar won't get uploaded to the public folders.
One more thing is that Seahawk prefers to upload in batches so if you only sent him one avatar, he's going to wait until he gets a handful of avatars. When that time comes, he will then upload them up, all at once, rather than one at a time. So it may take some time before you see your avatar uploaded, if it does get accepted.

He's often busy I assume and you should check his profile to see if he's online or not.

Usually Seahawk never replies, he often approves and puts it up, mind checking the avatars if you want.
If you want to make sure if the avatar is valid, test it at Signature and Avatar Testing.

Also another way to check if he's read your PM is to check the box that says "Request read receipt", if he reads it you will receive a PM from the system notifying you that he has indeed read it, this applies for a PM to any other user as well.

You already PMed him twice it seems. I would discourage PMing him again. At this point, any more and it could be considered spam and harassment.

I usually don't reply to avatar PMs, just because I honestly lose track of who sent me what. However, I do remember your avatar submission and yes, as was pointed out, I don't upload avatars that have been personalized to the general usage folder. If you send me an avatar of your character wearing/wielding armours or weapons (like from ED or AQW) I allow that because it's one of the ways to showcase the equipment being used... but the minute you stick your name on it as well it becomes unusable.

IF you haven't already, feel free to resubmit your avatar without the name on it and I can probably upload it provided it meets the other requirements for image and file size (95x95 pixels, 10K).
