are all these rules necessary?

petitions should be allowed and other people may agree......so its chaos and its followers vs forums

@chaosmasterVM,
*sigh*

Mate, rules and enforcers exist for a reason. They don't exist for the sole purpose of breaking.

Had the rules not been enforced, do you think Battleon Forums would've been any different from those unofficial AE Forums that are spread across the Net?
The amount of profanity and inappropriate content used there is insane. Those are wild.

In any case, I don't think making numerous threads on the same topics and antagonizing the forums will help take your issue forward.
Even if suggestions were allowed until last year, I don't think petitions ever were.

So, yeah. Remember that its fun if you play by the rules, and not if one breaks them. :)
Hope you are getting my meaning.
Good luck and enjoy your stay here.

Yes all of these rules are VERY neccassary. The forum Administrators and Moderators (and their AK underlings), want this place to be as friendly and constructively acting as possible... well... better said, they don't want to see chaos, anarchy, and mindless flaming/bickering.

AE games are all rated T +13 (except AQW being E+10). So the forums have to be held at the same exact rating as well. These rules are in place to keep the PG-13 enviroment of the forums as smooth as possible. Obviously the team of AK's and mods can't stop everything from crawling its way through, but they do their job as well as they can, when they can.

Sure some people will disagree with these a rule or two, but they're all here for a reason. They're all here for the good enviroment of the forum users.

The suggestion boards are there for people to constructively make suggestions. Petitions are not necessary in any shape or form on the forums. Please do not recreate a thread on this topic again.
