How many exiles were supremely disappointed with support boost for the f2p guns? The Varium guns had the correct layout of str/dex/tech stat boosts. A support boost is basically meaningless for almost every build these days... Why not have similar stats, just fewer? Remember, enhancements are too expensive for credit-only and we are stuck with these stats... This really isn't meant to be a complaint, just want to bring awareness to the stat-decider: this is extremely important for competitive balance. Maybe one give str/dex/tech and one give dex/tech/sup just like it has always been?

I actually bought the varium one and fully enhanced it with credits. [:D]
I just wish they stopped having support requirements and bonuses, with support being so weak it's like your missing out on even more stat points.

Not really, besides the RNG is broken anyways so even with high support you can get crit and you may never crit. Now everyone is using support less and less so it's a bit safer to have it low.

if you don't have a lot of support though, you will get crit a lot :/

Agreed, i'm very dissapointed, when Legion also finished up the 1st vault the F2P players were also disspointed because they didn't get an apropriate gift for their hard working breaking through the 1st vault... and as i can see now the new non-var gun is pretty useless... If i don't say Completely, and i'm supporting your idea of taking consider of F2P players in this war, because i don't see any appreciation to their hard working unless the cheevo... i just want to back up my Post with this link check the cons. -Paying players receive large advantages. if the team didn't manage to realize that the F2P players are important also... The game won't get anywhere...

Yeah Im a bit dissapointed about that.

I can understand that the Varium gun has three more stat modifiers and two more slots but switching the Tech boost to a supp boost on the mecha laser is just lame. To just about every build known to epicduel as it stands today 5 tech destroys 5 support so why give the F2P's the lesser stat instead of just a weaker version of the gun

The new f2p guns are just like the lvl 35 swords(stat wise the suck for almost all classes). the only classes which can use the new swords and guns well are ch and tech mages reason being they have malfunction. wep which plus both str and support are not so useful to tlm and bh because they do not have a nerfing skill which improves with support. oh wells lets just hope the next non var wep/armor would be better than what we r getting now. imho the devs are trying to promote non vars to become ch and tm idk y lolz.

Edit: well bm and merc have intimidate but intimidate is not as strong as malf so the new no var weps are still suited for tm and ch.

dis not about guns. honesly, dis is about balance in stats of str and supp. rite now, more strenth is sure win and u need minimums suports.
if u hav more suport, u lose...

I was going to send an extreme message but I reconsidered and I'm going to be more calm about it.
Basically, dev's gave us the weaker version of the gun not to include enhances and stats. What gets me extremely mad is that we got support as one of the stat modifiers...
So yes dev's you do KNOW support is the most useless stat in the game so giving non var guns support is suppose to make us feel the same??
I will never get a direct answer from whoever creates the stats in this game but being here since alpha, WAIT I was one of the first 100 to register this game, and still being a non var Iv'e seen very disappointing changes.

You don't even know how frustrated I am.
I thought the community works together, apparently not.
Iv'e seen enough and can't bare to see what's coming in the future...
I hope you wake up and start caring about your non var players and don't even tell me dev's care of every player no matter whom.
That is more then a lie, you just say that so you won't give players the wrong message.
We all know you guys (devs) care more about your varium players which is why you made a HUGE gap between non var players.

From robots, to enhance slots, to stat bonuses, to weapon damage, weapon skill, cooler looks...

I'm very ashamed...

Yes I am sorry this post is pretty harsh or grabbing, you need to face the truth.

EDIT: Please don't get me wrong it's a great game but needs major changes especially the var and non var gap. I don't like to be straight-forward but I'm looking forward to these changes.

What community are you pretending to be part of exactly ? According to your statement, you have been playing this game for a very long time. FOR FREE. Never wanted to help the game by buying some varium ?

I see many post like these. What is wrong with you kids wanted everything for free. I don't see complaints when PS3 or Xbox sells a 60$ game (plus expansion packs). All this that you see when you play cost real money.

Anyway PLZ release class-specific credit only weapons already! So much waiting, Disturbed already designed a few so would be nice to release them in shop that requires the key, not after vault breaks.

@Dbag You need players like myself and truc around these forums we old F2P's, truc being the older F2P of course, give a side to the story the rest of you tend to forgo. We were all F2P at a time and while most of you have gotten varium to get ahead some of us it isn't an option or some of us just enjoy the challenge of being a F2P where cookie cutter builds aren't required to play, or should i say pay.

Personally I find that this whole war has shafted the F2P community weapon wise and armor wise. Are we given the same chance to compete because of random drops? Well yes we are but that isn't what i'm getting at. This is the first time in a long time that I have seen class specific primaries for only Varium users and the weapons aren't a promo. Not only that but we are only allowed to get a level 15 or 25 armor that personally my Seraph armor beats and that's from way back when, early gamma late beta i don't recall, but now the devs have went and changed up the stats on a gun that looks exactly the same as it's varium counterpart instead of just weakening it's stat modifiers. Now why am I getting this stuff well because my vault tactic is gun heavy and as the vault gets stronger the exoskeleton is a nice perk to keep me alive but if you throw the special effects out the window I'd still be using the Headhunter SMG and Seraph armor in fact after this war is done that's exactly what I'm switching back to, well I might keep the sword I've been using a staff since i started and I could mix it up a little.

Now am I being a bit harsher then normal? Of course I am because the memory of Beta and Gamma still rings strong in my head where if you wanted to get ahead as a F2P you had to use a sword, unless you where a merc then you just used Mjolnir and stuck to 2v2, because those where the only weapons we ever got and I remember one or two events where we didn't even get swords.

OWA, you deserve a cookie for making me actually log into my forum account lol. I was actually happy that we finally got a lvl 35 gun (and with a SPECIAL effect :D). I'm still happy we got it despite it having bad stat mods lol. Exile FTW!

naw owa deserves a brownie. what he said is the truth. i know the stat and the requirements are well bad but i just stay positive despite having weps which are well useless because i have faith that the devs would give us gr8 wep next time round. take the Easter guns for example they were gr8. i just hope that the next few weps would not be +str and +support because weps which plus both str and support are well not so useful.

Locking this up as well. If you wish to discuss the balance of equipments, such as stat modifiers and requirements, you may do so in the Balance Thread instead. Remember that just complaining/whining thats lacking constructive criticism doesn't help anybody at all.
