A Dealer Tale: The Villain's Gala. "So, when's The Dealer coming?" Mr Purple exclaimed. "What's so important about The Dealer?" The newcomer, who had just arrived from somewhere in the country, asked. "Look at the new villain, don't know how The Dealer goes about these parties." Mr Purple walked off and was replaced with a villain slightly more savvy to the city's scene. "Here man, I'll tell you. The Dealer right, he's normaly an stoic kinda guy. You go up to him in that big tower of his and he'lll be all posh and whatnot. But here, on the Villain's Gala, he a right party animal. He'll party the most, and tell the most jokes." "Right. We talking about the same Dealer? Because when I saw him it looked like he had a major stick up his-" "HELLOOOOOOOO GALA!" The Dealer waled in with a big smile on his face. It looked like he had started the party early. "I hope you are all enjoying the gala that my employee Darkness King was so good to hold this year. I will admit, It's not been a good year for the villains of this city. The recent resurgence in Heroes has cramped both your plans and my business. But I hope that this ball will be our oppotunity to create some magnificent plans! And now, please enjoy the party!" This got a round of cheers from the villains. The night went away without any incident. No hero would be so foolish to attack the villains Gala. It was noticed by those even quite distracted that The Dealer was having a good time. Least, he told jokes a lot, which is pretty much the same thing. Everyone was escorted to their lairs after the party was over, The Dealer included. King, worried about how much his boss had drank, asked "You sure you don't want me to look after you? What if there's an attack or something?" "I'll be fine." King knew he had to ask, if only just so he knew he had. "But why sir? Why b ehave like that in the first place? It's not like you." The Dealer merely smiled, said "Goodnight King. See you in the morning." and walked inside, got dressed and went to bed. Where he cried for a hour because no matter how much he partioed he could not forget the night where a hero HAD been foolish enough to break in, and he had found her and they talked and before they knew it were dancing on the roof with the moonlight shining down...
