why can i delete my own post in the DF GD forum, but not in the ED GD forum?

some forums have that privelllege, others don't, just the rule of the particular forum.

I believe in some cases (and it should be the case in the EDGD) you're also allowed to delete your post if it's the last one that's been made in the thread (that is, if the forum has that privilege mentioned above). Once someone has replied to it though, you aren't allowed to do so.

To add on onto the others; if you look at the bottom of your screen, you should notice what is called the Icon Legend. If you look at the Icon Legend, you should be able to see the following:
  • Post New Thread
  • Reply to Message
  • Post New Poll
  • Submit Vote
  • Delete My Own Post
  • Delete My Own Thread
  • Rate Posts.
These are all located on the right side of the Icon Legend. What is does is that it tells you what privileges you can do inside a certain Forum, such as DF GD and ED GD. When the symbol in front of it shows a red cross, it means you cannot do that action. If it has a tick, it means you are able to do that action.
