This is what ruined the Non varium Gun, it had supp and just made it not even worth it for non variums.... i really hope this aux does NOT HAVE SUPP

then make healing improve with support so there can be such thing as a support build to counteract the blood mages/strength cybers.

^ obviously you werent from beta or else you would know that support healing just makes for unbeatable loop builds that cannot be beaten and you will lose for sure... they have strived greatly from that era and we dont want to go back

^ im from alpha and while i do remember loop heal builds i still believe it would help the issue...as it stands now support is practically a waste of a stat and should either be removed, replaced, or buffed. the most likely of those that i see is the buff.

The problem back then was that mages had 160+ hp,and could heal for high amounts as many times as they wanted to. This is not a problem anymore, because of focus. Focus brings up other problems, but that's a different story. The point is, right now support builds are near worthless for every class. Something like healing increased with support would give a buff to support builds, but you couldn't have such high HP. It simply wouldn't be worth -6 def/res. And anyway I thought that heal loop builds were at least more interesting than spam str builds.

It shouldnt have STR, It should have Dex,tech,Supp. If it gets No supp, then it should have 2 str Max.

Also how is this suggestion? It's changing existing items since they are in-game but not available. So much uniqueness.. <.<
I'm fine with Support on the Aux. There were many other items that didn't fit players because they had Str stat yet we didn't moan but just passed the weapon since it didn't fit us. There's much more weapons available if you really want Str, don't think about yourself only which is selfish as some players may want the Support.

PS. Support build isn't that dead. If you can play it out well and get decent strategy, it can compete fairly well. Requires a brain though.

Have you guys not noticed that the varium guns didn't have anything in the support stat?
It's a huge disadvantage as for the vast majority of builds as a point of support is not as useful as a point in other stats.
It gives those varium guns a even bigger advantage over their non varium counterparts.

Support is actually a tactical stat. Yes like trans said it requires a brain. Especially with the Infernal weapons that boosts critical strike it revives the support stat. A player that has 70 crit aux damage, with the Infernal weps coukd reach.... 90.

The guns which have support are non varium, so I doubt those who buy them will have the Infernal interdictor.

A item can't balance a stat or a class.

Support TM can withstand Str BMs due to great Matrix (yes it does raise their rage), high Malf and great Aux. So you should be able to take most of the HP just by Aux when raged and Crits will help it even further. Then you have the Gun with DA which can do wonders if you go for Energy Gun then that's always good (and Physical Primary, or vice versa).
Support TLM can also compete very well, can be said about Mercenaries too with high Energy as they can utilise BC to raise their damage + get HP back, use Multi, HA for defence and mid-Heal.
BHs aren't as good with it and neither are CHs, but BMs can do it with their skills but more Focus 5 aimed instead.

So pretty much it requires thinking so I'm all for Support. ;)

You are mentioning a list of builds which you can use for support. Even though those builds you have mentioned are good they are currently not used much because the vast majority of players don't use support builds. Maybe that will change in the future when support is buffed.
I'm not going as far as saying there shouldn't be any more weapons with support but It would be better if there was a mixture so everybody can use the new weapons and benefit from them.

Yes, well I did mention ones that can compete to disaprove the point Support is apparently useless. Takes some skill only + Heal may be put back to Support, but at a lesser scaling than before but this isn't decided yet. (info from Livestream FAQ)

More likely that not the aux will be a phisical +4-6 str 6-8 dex amd 6-8 tech, with a tech aux with 4-6 support, 6-8 tech, and 6-8 dex

The New Aux Should Have support because support builds have been killed. And also i just wanna go back to tlm to use my support build again i miss it[:(].

When the new aux comes out I will probably make a support build with merc. High intimidate and high multi. Which could take down a strength build. Support is more of a challenge than strength build but it can work a lot better also.

Well at least the non varium and varium versions have support rather than just the non varium one.
It just gives varium players a huge advantage.
