Add a new users/Welcome thread so that all the new guys can welcome themselfs to the community.

Removed color, as it was difficult to read. If you would like to use a color when posting, please use one that is easy to read, as excessive colors are considered spam under the Comprehensive Forum Rules. ~Bassetbookworm

Here is a thread that's already there for this.

Also, can you darken your text?

If that's it do you really think a new user will be able to find that...

Thiefboy109 -> RE: Heres a nice suggestion (7/29/2012 16:00:13)

Yes, where else could it possibly go? It cannot go into a specific game's forum, it cannot go into the Forum Rules/Suggestion forums, so the only fitting place for it is the OOC board.

Well they wouldent specificly go searching for it so you should place it under their noses so when when they first join they should see it. Recourses would be the best place.

Hopeful Guy -> RE: Heres a nice suggestion (7/29/2012 16:12:05)

That's not a good idea. If they put it there, they'd have to unlock the board for discussion.

Plurbius UnUm Calon -> RE: Heres a nice suggestion (7/29/2012 16:28:19)

How about you change it from "Recorces" To "official Forum Threads" There you could keep the recourse stuff and you could add in New Users/Welcome battleon Forums Questions/Feedback and Forum announcements.

Rickyb20 -> RE: Heres a nice suggestion (7/29/2012 18:03:38)

How about having an announcement on the Forum Listing at the top, saying something like this:

quote:

New to the forums? Your first stop is here: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=19746471

Or something similar, maybe even providing directions to where that thread is located. I see no point in re-naming a whole sub-forum just to suffice for a single thread; it would be a big waste of time.
