sporetox -> Sporetox, Enslaver of Dragons (7/30/2012 0:52:40)

quote:

Revontheus, before becoming immortal was once known as Ganloth, the Enslaver of Dragons. Ganloth was known for his skills and determination in enslaving dragons, living and dead, both body and soul. Ganloth's skill grew rapidly throughout lore including the depths of the dark abyss. Eventually, the Archfiend Nulgath himself, favoured Ganloth's power and so, he offered the hearty determined warlord the gift of power and immortality... and thus, within the heart of the abyss, spawned the new apprentice of Nulgath...Revontheus!

This story is about Ganloth's apprentice, Sporetox, and his seeking to free his former master from the clutches of the Void Fiend Nulgath. None of the information this story adds to the backstory Ganloth or Revontheus is official, and is not the word of any AE staff or Moderator.

Greetings, My name is Sporetox. Many ask me how I got to where I am today, Fighting for Dage's Legions not because any respect for the man (for which I have none), but for my hatred of the enemy. In order to understand why I despise Nulgath, you are first going to have to hear of the origin of my abilities, and the fate of a man now known as Revontheus. This story may not have a happy ending, and judging by the strength of our enemy, I may never be able to finish my story, but I shall try to write as much as I possibly can, so that future warriors do not make the same mistake of trusting that backstabbing Void Fiend.

Chapter 1.1: The History of Dragon Enslaving.

Dragon Enslaving is a rare form of Dracomancy, combining standard Dracomancy with Beast Magic and a small amount of Void Magic. It was discovered By Nulgath when he was still in his Larval form and known by the name Miltonius. He only ever gave this power to one man, Ganloth.

Chapter 1.2: The story of the First Dragon Enslaver.

Ganloth was by far the Strongest warrior in his small Village. However, there was little he could do when a large group of Dragons began attacking villages surrounding what is now the Vasalkar's lair. The assault was relentless, many villages fell to the monsters. They seemed completely unstoppable. The Dragons began ravaging villages further and further away from their lair. Eventually, they began to move in on Ganloth's Village. Ganloth, ready to sacrifice himself to buy any amount of time for more villagers to evacuate, was approached by a cloaked figure. And that, was the biggest mistake he would ever make.
