Kajino -> Better community system (8/4/2012 6:45:16)

Hello

I'm a big fan of EpicDuel and I should admit that I'm pretty much addicted to it.
I have few suggestions about community system for better game experience.

Currently, the only way to add someone as friend is to meet him/her in "same server" and "same world" and "same place"
It limits the chance to add someone who you meet on the battle or the one who you wants to be a friend.
It would be good if you add "search player" option and "add friend" icon in it.

I had some friends who started this game but they are all left this game because of lack of community system.
They felt hard to contact me though I logged in everyday because current system only allow to send message to online player only.
Please add some features that people can contact each other whenever they want.
Faction notice board has this kind of function but it's bit hard to check faction notice board every time I log in.

Thanks.

Ok, so I like the idea about being able to send messages when players are offline, and then the player could check an inbox or something, but being able to message/add people who you aren't in the same room as would be ridiculous. Imagine how many friend requests and messages saying "what's a good build?" people like Comicalbiker and Faybee would get.

So to compromise, I suggest that you be able to be able to send messages to friends while offline for them to read later.

@Sympleton that is another topic. Let us stay on post, shall we?

Being able to send friend requests when someone is offline is, just like sending messages, can also cause spam and Message list-buildup. I agree, it is hard to contact people, and i agree it should be fixed. But as of right now, there is no way around that without upsetting players. As i posted in response on the other topic, the only way to get around this is to make either a "Ignore/Block list" or a "Only accept messages from <enter player names here> and to have the list grow by adding more names". This is the only solution i see fit.
