alright obviously there has been debate over these skills usefullness... obviously bunker seems to find home in alot more builds then its energy equivalent

Well I honestly love plasma cannon along with the fact I think its also a love hate relationship ( missing a crit on a much needed time xD )
but nowadays sometimes its not even worth bothering... mainly because you can either rage it ( if your energy supplies last long enough )
and do good damage or if you get a crit great damage. Or you can open it up at first and hope for that crit.. then fail and hit a 22 on cyber hunters
and anything with say 30+ resist.

Anyways what i'm proposing is mainly this... change there bonuses to 30% penetration ( cause that seems like a good amount to me.. ) and
I would personally like to see higher crit % but I can easily live with it being 25% so keep that there !

so at level 10 its stats would be 33 energy 60-66 damage ( based off current 85 tech ) with a 30% penetration and 25% crit

OK so I can't truly say anything about bunker because I have yet to extensively use it ( dislike playing regular mercenaries )
so even then that extra 10% penetration could be the difference between useful and useless because face it for 33 energy nobody
wants to use that and get a like .7 dmg per energy ratio :/

No, it would just be an OP unblockable cheapshot then.

my response to that is cheapshot is based off of strength .. so based off of the damage your going to do with your weapons which can be a lot if your strength is up+ you get a crit..

I just think they need to do SOMETHING to give the skills a boost in there effectiveness against things with high resistance.. which runs rampant these days

There is an equal chance of crit from both CS and those 2 skills, CS for me usually only gives me extra 2-4 damage and is blockable.
BB and PC are unblockable, ignore more defense until Cheapshot gets to a certain level, and since they improve with tech you get a nice boost to resistance as well.
Personally I think BB and PC are a bit stronger than cheapshot, but you can argue they are about equal.

Bunker Buster appears more often in builds because it is more useful to Mercs and Plasma Cannon is to BMs. (Everyone knows that most BMs prefer heavy strength builds to tech builds.)

As for the idea: NOT supported. It would make them even more of a tank buster than they already are.
