ok after seeing a thread about "new classes" I didnt wanna put a suggestion in another persons suggestion so .. behold! my ideas!

New skill1 = warning shot! ~ fires a shot 70% primary dmg ( the guns not your gun kinda like how bunker is used ) with a 2% chance of stunning the target at lvl 1
level 1 2% stun lvl 10 20% stun
req lvl 23 supp lvl 10 39 supp

New skill2 Flare gun ~ fires a weak flare at an opponent lighting them on fire doing DoT for 3 turns
lvl 1 2 damage, lvl 10 11 damage a turn
req lvl 1 23 tec 10 32 tec

new skill 3 = uranium shells ~ starting at lvl 1 you get +2% aux damage
lvl 1 2%, lvl 2 4%, lvl 3 6%, lvl 4 8%, lvl 5 10%, lvl 6 12%, lvl 7 14%, lvl 8 16%, lvl 9 18% lvl 10 20%
req lvl 1 28 str~ lvl 10 42 strength ( because you need to be strong to hold those cannons :D )

lvl 1 2 en, lvl 2 3 energy, lvl 3 4 en, lvl 4, 5 en , lvl 5 6en ,lvl 6 7en, lvl 7 8 en, lvl 8 9en, lvl 9 10 en, lvl 10 11 en

new skill2 ~ Keen eye at lvl 1 +1% defense ignore on all attacks
lvl 1% - lvl 10 10%
req lvl 1 25 sup lvl 10 40 sup

New skill 3 ~ Concealed firing this "ultimate move" fires several rounds from the recons "concealed arsenal"
level 1 80% damage level 10 130% damage ( based on primary damage / element )
req 25 tech lvl 10 42 tech

New skill 3 ~ sabotage , your not an expert in debuffs but you can do what others cant! ~ debuffs both dex and tech but does not do as powerfull of a debuff
lvl 1 dex/ tech- 10 ~ lvl 10 dex/ tech - 20
req lvl 1 23 supp lvl 10 38 supp ( does improve with support to a MAX of -25 dex/ tech )
(my idea for this was a 'team player" class to play a more support role in battles but I'm not to sure how balanced it is.. I tried to make it have lowered attack to be fair :S )

good except for one thing. are these three classes a version of the others, or are they at the base line for classes? if they are at the base line then they shouldn't copy skills

suppose to be a new type of merc, hunter, mage class :/ and coming up with entirely new skill trees would be incredibly difficult..

It's alright

Artillery expert seems a little too close to mercenary, and has too many grenades, get rid of stun grenade and replace it with something else
Maybe give it an energy regain

For recon, remove EMP, we have enough troubles with hunter classes using that


Medic you kinda end up like a type of bloodmage,
Use blood command, static charge, gun, budgeon, double strike, static charge, gun etc
It could become very strength abusive, and go against its purpose


Decent ideas though, fairly well thought through

edited the post ^ artillery now has reroute instead of stun grenade this makes you choose between having high AUX or the ability to regen energy to power up other abilities
as well as two new skills "warning shot" and "flare gun" taking place of toxic nade and double strike

recon now has a new skill in place of emp which does a "similar" effect but WAY less powerfull ( imo ) than emp which is just instant shutdown in most cases at lvl 1 even...

medic now has intimidate to "debuff" the opponents strength giving him survivability instead of a strength buff as well as a new "debuff" for a more supportive roll

Recon is simply OP. Smoke, DA, BL, a Passive that ignores defense, and massacre, a strength build with that class would make strength BM and strength BH (when SA was released) look like a bunch of noobs running around with safety scissors, super soakers, and nerf guns.

I disagree it takes 8 points to even "unlock" the final tier tree ( 3 for third level ) ehat you have 47 skill points to try and max out all those last teir skills? the point of hsving them there
is to make you CHOOSE which of those you want... at the most you could get 7 in every skill at the bottom which makes you somewhat weaker due to not having any skills anywhere else
along with only being able to get 7 in each of those IF you only put 5 points into smoke/ deadly aim so in general your going to have to choose.. if you choose strength and massacre well.
realistically your only going to be getting a build thats barely stronger than a classic smoke mass bounty hunter build..


but~ I am making some change to "deter" away from something like that... and SHOULD solve the problem ( this post is before edit )

<bump?> really would like more peoples opinions on these classes.. I personally think there fairly balanced as well as bringing new "concepts" to the current class archetypes :/
