I know some that look pretty close, but I'm not sure which 1 is officially gold.

There really is not a gold color code, if you look around online you can find color codes that are similar. #FFD700 is a common color code used for gold, though if you are typing messages a darker gold color like #D4AF37 is better because it is easier on the eyes. To use either of these just choose a color and replace the number with the ones I mentioned.

Overall the color palette on the forums can be rather limiting, and if sticking to it, the color you chose is about as close as the forums get to gold.

Well, according to the magic of the Internet:

Gold: #D4A017
Gold1: #FDD017
Gold2: #EAC117
Gold3: #C7A317

The forum uses standard html color codes in a #XXXXXX format, so you can always find a specific color that way. Usually you just need to google the color you want.
