HEY EVERYONE :D

i suggest that EpicDuel should decrease the class change cost , like from 50k to 25k or 35k cuz it's really hard for non var players from level 20-32 or 33 to get this amount of credits

Ranloth -> RE: class change problems (9/14/2012 12:22:13)

People should be grateful Credit version exists rather than want even lower price.. Before it was 1.5K Varium and it went down almost by half (to 900) and then Credit option was added. It's not that hard to farm Credits and I had 10K by Lvl 16 already (with average weapons + no mistakes in builds thus no retrains) which allowed me to get an Armor and better weapons.
Besides it's really easy to farm Credits now during Power Hour + drops. It's not that high considering it all adds up pretty quickly. If you play a lot even for an hour (during PH obviously) and go for 2v2 for rewards, you can get as near as even 10K Credits per hour. 5 hours and Class change!

In other words, not supported.

@below
Yeah it's easy to say.. You get 2 different times of the day and most likely weekend works out for people. I mean worst case scenario is probably 12am and 12pm where you may be at school or sleeping but weekends make it more flexible. Also "people like me" make quite a big group of people since it isn't hard to focus for an hour OR if you cannot get on during PH, farm for twice as long.

@philopateer hazim, I'm always for changes that improve player morale. A happy player is a loyal player. If the current method of earning credits stays, then I support the idea of reducing the cost. It's hard enough for a level 35 fully enhanced experienced player like myself to earn 50,000 credits by playing for 1-2 hours per day for only a few days out of the week. I can only imagine how hard it is for lower level players.

Other people like Trans are quick to say how easy it is to "farm credits during power hour", but not every credit player have that luxury. Even if they did, it wouldn't be easy.

For now, I support this.

Please do not self advertise. If you however want to talk about your idea, please do it without linking to your thread. :) ~Practel

@Trans above, I don't know about you, but players like me have real world obligations and can only spare an hour or two per day for recreation. These free times don't always coincide with ED's Power Hour schedule. These are the people I'm concerned about and those who play way more often (I'm assuming you do) just cannot comprehend the difficulty we face in accumulating credits.

Bunshichi -> RE: class change problems (9/14/2012 16:43:05)

^ I think 50,000 its a nice number, the lower the cost the easier people can flock to a class when a good build rises.

Hyperion211 -> RE: class change problems (9/21/2012 7:45:20)

yes it is realy easy to get credits i am a lvl 34 lvl cyber hunter and i win many battles i only play 1 or 2 hours a day and get 10 or 5 k credits everyday i have earned 21 000 credits one day with a tech mage

LeProTurtle -> RE: class change problems (9/22/2012 1:26:42)

No support. Like Trans said, people should be grateful for the non varium version. 50k is easy to get honestly, I got it in a few days a couple times. 25k = people changing almost every day.

DeathHound -> RE: class change problems (9/22/2012 11:43:28)

No offense, but i REALLY couldn't be bothered to read what everyone else posted, because this thread is a re-post stating the same fact: Lower class changing price. If we did this, not only would people be walking about with those classes, but then lowering that price meant any OTHER item priced at the same price would want to be lowered by others.

EDIT: Decided to read. Trans is right, the price WAS lowered, so we should be grateful, not being stingy on a large amount.

@Drekon: Varium is yet another useful currency. Sponsor Offers are a good way to get it. So there is more ways than just using Credits. Not to mention you could use keys for credits from offers, or just buy it.

Personally, ones outlook on something that keeps being brought up, with the same opinion with no ACTUAL benefit for the game, will get the same answer.
Not to mention, Devs have already stated their opinion on a topic like this.

Ranloth -> RE: class change problems (9/22/2012 13:00:08)

Also, may I note again.. High price is to prevent easy Class jumping when one class is OP or such. Varium got lowered already to quite a reasonable amount and Credit is easy to get if you have patience to play thus it boils down to: Pay or Play. Simple as. If it was lower than it is, for either Varium or Credits, it'd just encourage even more Class jumping even for Variums with lots of Credits to spare at Level Cap.

drekon -> RE: class change problems (9/23/2012 1:31:11)

@DeathHound, tell me something I don't know. Unfortunately, neither of those options are available for many players in other countries. Most don't get enough good offers, if any at all, and they cannot afford to buy varium, so your suggestion does nothing to help them. Personally, I can't be bothered to do anymore offers and I've already spent enough money supporting this game over the years. I choose not to partake in either of your options until more is done for help the less fortunate players enjoy the game at a greater standard. These are the players I'm concerned about. It would benefit the game greatly if everyone else were less concerned with class hoppers and more concerned about the players in need.

Also, you should know that the message I was trying to get across with my post was lost due to Practel's censorship. What I was trying to say is that "If the current method of earning credits stays, then I support the idea of reducing the cost." However, if my suggestion regarding Daily Credit Rewards were to be implemented, then the cost should stay the same. That suggestion has since evolved and has been refined to a realistic and fair concept.
