Story Of The Scourge
Once upon before there was EVIL there are a young paladin called Arthas was a man of action - brave, impulsive and straightforward. He was an inspiring leader. In conversations with other characters, he appeared witty and easy-going, yet able to hold true to his decisions and make others accept them. Arthas also has a strong sense of loyalty to his men and his clan.
Despite his promising beginnings, Arthas became one of the most powerful and evil beings Northrend ever know.Taking up the cursed runeblade Frostmourne, he became a death knight, led the Scourge in destroying every clan,and merged with the Lich King.Arthas travelled back to The Silver Hand months later for his just reward. The clan rejoiced at the return of its Prince and hero. Arthas knelt before the throne, then approached his master and king, King Terenas, and ran him through with Frostmourne, killing him and leaving The Silver Hand to rot without a king.Finally, after several years, the Lich King awoke and unleashed his attack on the unsuspecting world without any mercy.As the Lich King, Arthas instigated another Scourge invasion of Aqw Lore, provoking a counteroffensive in Northrend. In doing so, he lured powerful heroes to Northrend and placed many challenges before them, seeking to weed out the weak and make the strong question their own morality. He planned to raise the world's greatest fighters as his new champions, and use them to spearhead attacks on their homelands, in a reflection of his own journey.Now The Scourge was (and still is) a vast army of undead that making invasion in AQW Lore.
