I was thinking about MW3's Specialist class and thought how cool it would be if Epic Duel players could customize their skills in the still tree. But instead of being able to use it right away, it would be like a Shadow Skill Tree they can customize prior to battle, but have to unlock certain items to use it. The required items could be attained from PvP Drops (so everyone gets a fair shot) and if 5 or so are acquired, the player can unlock their Shadow Skill Tree for 10 battles (win or lose). All skills would retain it's original requirements and stats.
This may seem overpowered to some people, but I was imagining non-varium players unlocking this and then having a chance to demolish the varium players who took advantage of them for so many years. Even if they only get 10 chances to do so. The gratification would be totally worth it! :)
If the concern of OP builds is too great, then how about it being unlockable once per battle, sacrificing 1 turn to unlock it. Once unlocked, the player would then have to accumulate another 5 of the required items to unlock it again.
