There is also a reason why Pyro Fly was made random. Just no. It'd make things too OP, I mean you just disable your useless skill and destroy one's build completely at cost of pretty much nothing.

Maybe as a skill for tac merc, which needs a buff, in place of stun grenade or something. However, you should have to sacrifice 2 of your own skills, and the skills you sacrifice have to be above lvl 1.

@green So a Str TLM can do the exact same thing then? This is going to be abused. Like Trans says, Pyro Fly is random because of how powerful removing a skill is. Removing a skill can very easily destroy an entire build. What good is a Caster TM if he doesn't have PB?

2 things I should add:

  • this effect might be improved (for balance) if it disables skills at random

  • the effect is forced to be useless if Pyro Fly is in effect, or Pyro Fly is useless if the skill is in effect (or, not and)

    It's still OP. You cannot give such a skill because abuse will happen. Those who have Pyro Fly will find skill useless, not mentioning how unfair it'd be for one class to own such a skill and leave others with nothing. Random even, Pyro Fly was there for a reason and Bot may exist with same/similar feature but making it a skill to be used in battle is way too much.

    No Void, it cannot be improved. It's OP as it is, Pyro Fly has it exclusive and why would this be a skill in battle? It's too much power, it'd work with any build and be abused & ending up being nerfed.

    How about making it like this:

    You sacrifice a skill thats above lvl 3.
    You pick one of your opponents skills, and that skill's level is cut in half.

    Ex: I use manipulation and sacrifice my lvl 4 Def matrix. My TM opponent's Max PB is now only lvl 5.

    Does that sound ok?

    Still no. Picking and nerfing a skill is OPd and when it isn't then it's UPd. There's pretty much no middle ground to it.

    Edit: How about not being able to nerf other people's "nuke" skills, like PB, FB, and BB? So basically only passives, shields, smoke, malf, intimidate, field and blood commander, and things like Deadly aim and Hybrid armor.

    Disabling passives would completely destroy balance. There's a very good reason the Pyro Fly didn't do that. And Str builds could still abuse it by disabling shields or buffs.

    Speculation. This is a means of speculation, and as a skill, Pyro Fly is more dangerous than this skill if it is at random (still undecided by the suggester). Pyro Fly uses 1 turn to disable 1 skill for the remainder of the battle. This skill uses as many turns as the user chooses, with the skill being temporary in effect. A turn not spent attacking in EpicDuel is a turn wasted because one only wins if the opponent's health drops.

    Sure there are conditions such as Field Medic being disabled meaning the player's health can not be traditionally regained; there are also conditions in which disabled skills have little to no effect in the battle. If a player never uses Blood Shield and Blood Shield is disabled, they are not totally disadvantaged but also not advantaged.

    Field Medic is universal so I will also add that I support this skill if:

  • Field Medic is not affected

    Field medic, "nuke" or damage skills, and possibly passives shouldnt be affected.

    You cannot say that it can be improved either since you have nothing to base it on.. Sorry but I use common sense and I'm giving my feedback to the thread maker. It's my opinion, okay? FIreball dealing 150 damage isn't OP either, I don't have data so you cannot say it is. Also, can you not put words in my mouth? I find it highly disrespectful that you take my post apart and have your own meaning for it.
    It's my opinion on it so leave it as it is and don't think you know more than us when we're equal on this Forum. Be nice.

    @void So the ability to have a chance to completely ruin a build and defeat someone much better than using a skill which costs energy isn't OPd? If I recall, Pyro Fly was only supposed to disable skills after they had so many points invested in them but that was probably dropped after realizing it would pretty much limit Pyro Fly to the skills it would do the most damage by disabling. Either that or it's bugged but I doubt it.

    EDIT: 150 damage Fireball, with over 300 Strength, sure.

    Again, this is still randomized, so although with a skill there are more tries to disable to the preferred skill, you could be wasting your time while the enemy pelts you and your health.

    This is over-powered... you can put one skill point on a skill you don't need and then in-battle you can sacrifice that skill for your opponent's best skill.

    What about this? - A random skill is disabled on the user and on the enemy. So, if you use this its a risk which could make you lose the battle but it could also make you win the battle. Whoever uses this, will have one of their own skills randomly removed and one skill of one of their enemy removed OR whoever uses this - all players in battle will lose one skill?

    Not supported and never supported. This move is extremely OP, and if it was put into the game everyone in their right mind would jump to this class to use this OP skill. It is the same reason why the pyro fly's special ability was made random, because if you could choose the skill you wanted you could destroy a person's build.

    So not supported and never supported.

    heh, no, not happening. look at the levels we fight at: choose attack, choose opponent. if a single class can actually go into level 3, other persons skill tree they completely alter everything, a thrid level of fighting, another thing you need to prepare for
