Rooster -> Additional (unique) Rarity Leaderboard (10/16/2012 3:12:39)

Currently, the rarity score leaderboard lists the people with the highest combined rarity score of all their gear. This ranking considers the score of gear duplicates, which has led to the fact that everyone on the leaderboard carries multiple copies of a single item (often 20 or more) to make it onto the board. Now while this is interesting for players to see (who's crazy enough to spend that much money on a single item just for one honourable mention) and lucrative for the devs, I think it's of little value otherwise. You only see the players with the deepest pockets, but don't honour real rare collectors. Thus, I would like to suggest to add an additional UNIQUE rarity leaderboard that only considers the first copy of each item in the inventory, and ignores any duplicate items. This way we would have two rarity leaderboard, one for the overall rarity score (the current one) and one for the unique rarity score, showing the most determined rare collectors.
