I was facing Dravax today with slayer, i am only a level 20. Slayer was on 100 health, he was on 30. Slayer's beserk got blocked, then he critted on plasma bolt. Then Slayer used gun and it got deflected. Dravax was on 15 health and slayer was on 50. Dravax used berserk and it did a crit leaving slayer on 5 health. Then slayer got blocked again... i would've gotten the badge.

As you can see, how is this game fair? Blocks,criticals and deflections all should be removed. This game should be based on skill not luck.

Um...no.


Then you'd have a strength BM with 30-35+35 damage running around with maxed bludgeon and +10 DA. Never getting deflected or blocked.

That, my friend, is unbalanced ITSELF and requires non thinking, NOT skill.

How is pure Strength abuse gonna be skill? No block = 1st turn advantage and whoever has highest Str for most damage. With no luck, you wouldn't even beat players if you were minimally weaker nor even be able to beat NPCs you did beat now. Don't get angry because of your luck streak. Remove that and you remove fun in the game. You either make probability (call it luck) 0% or 100%, you want to make game plain dead with "skill" of abuse and nothing to change that.

Tough luck, have a go with Slayer again or get better build. Players can beat him and it's even easier than before (better equipment) so you should be even more lucky.

Good point, but i think the chance should be lowered. I have spent over 1k on boosters and over 50 tries..

I suggest posting a build request, however, I can mention something. Dravax is all about power. Remove that, and he's beat.

A much more economical solution would be to play 2v2 for a day and get to lvl 25 ;)

Chance lowered will still mean there's luck. Fact you go 1st is still based on probability which is luck. What if you go 2nd? Blame luck. You can't go 1st with someone because it won't work. Luck will always be part of any game.

Unless your skill is abuse of 2 stats (Str + HP) and relying on going 1st (luck!!!11!1!one) then think what block, deflection and critical is. What would you do to Dex to buff it? What would you do to Tech to buff it? Why nerf Support even further? Removing luck makes no sense whatsoever now it can even be done without making the game brain-dead.

unQualified threads on the topic of balance are not allowed to be posted in the EpicDuel General Discussion anymore. Since you are talking about, what you think needs to be done in-game to make battles more fair and based on skill then this discussion does not belong here.

I am going to have to lock this since the topic has steered towards Balance.
