StatueOfLips -> WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/1/2012 6:23:35)

What do you think of this?

Crimson Eagle -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/1/2012 6:48:07)

Ummm, well this has nothing to do with Epicduel....

StatueOfLips -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/1/2012 6:49:22)

Superbowl And Independence day has nothing to do with it either.

Crimson Eagle -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/1/2012 7:06:21)

Superbowl is one of the most exciting days of the year, plus both happen annually.

EDIT: Plus, I don't think its a good idea to remind people of WWII, I lost both my granddads. It was horrible

RageSoul -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/1/2012 7:14:59)

IDK but it would be great if there was , 'cept that most probably won't view it as "memorial" or great since it's definitely a big loss to many people during the old times .

Maqximus213 -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/1/2012 19:47:26)

Your not supposed to commemorate war. Why not just have a 9/11 cheevo too. At most maybe a Poppy Cheevo for Rememberance Day.

XapApp -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/2/2012 1:45:06)

Well EpicDuel has wars so it would somewhat make sense, however as Mr. Clean XD said it could be very sad for some people.

Crimson Eagle -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/2/2012 1:56:31)

I maybe mis-read... But if its just an achievement... Then thats ok and I support.
Sorry, I thought that you meant like an event... Just to be clear JUST an achievement?

midnight assassin -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/2/2012 2:04:45)

Well I support because I remember my grandpa is fighting japanese soldiers back in ww2 but was later freed with the help of the guerilla soldiers and americans.

ReinXI -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/2/2012 2:57:34)

I kind of support ..

as George Santayana once said
"The one who does not remember history is bound to live through it again"
You should always remember the past and that war was something nobody should ever forget
but as long as it's only a achievement nothing more. The only problem I could see with it is
something like people in other countries or something alongthose lines which is where I don't support but yeah.

50% supported

Stabilis -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/2/2012 8:17:57)

My great great uncle hid Jewish people in Hungary, of course until the Nazis crossed over into their property. Supported.

alt stink -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/3/2012 13:15:47)

why not make a general memory day chevo, 1 for every history event in usa and 1 chevo per country (like usa day chevo, uk day chevo, brazil day chevo, japan chevo, [insert contry here]day chevo, etc)

Mother1 -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/3/2012 13:37:31)

Not supported. We already have a memorial day achievement we don't need another one plus it would stir up bad memories with some people.

classifiedname -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/3/2012 13:59:35)

@mother1

agreed...

Unknown Menace -> RE: WWII Memorial Day Achievement? (11/3/2012 14:21:36)

Not supported. Normally i wouldn't mind achievments of any kind but the line has to be drawn somewhere.

Mother1 mentioned it there is already a memorial achievment. There are people that don't like to think to much about that period of time.
The memorial achievment is a good reminder to not forget the sacrifice that was made in the previous century. How ever call the achievment WWII and it could easily provoke people with bad memories instead of just reminding them of what took place. How strange it might sound to you, this really happens to people. It sounds much more confrontational.
