Supported. I also think even though some of the mentionable days (St. Patricks, Valentines Day etc...) are not official and/or statutory holidays they do still deserve cheevo's for recognition.
There are so many to choose from but I think the main ones should have a somewhat high token purchase base (500-???? Battle Tokens), and the lesser ones (0-500 Battle Tokens) .
A possible way to help the availability of the cheevo's might be to make them accessible for the duration of the month they reside in. So February 1st-28th-29th would be your window to get a Valentines cheevo.
There are a lot of cool ones too:
Cinco De Mayo (5th of May) 555 BT's
Canada Day (July 1st) 1867 BT's
Independence Day (July 4th) 1776 BT's
Dias De Los Muertos/Day of the Dead (November 2nd) ???? BT's
Leap Day (February 29th) 366 BT's
And so many more......
